Coming Home

I ran out into the cold air, water Spaulding off my shoes everywhere as I ran in small puddles. The only sound was the wind whooshing through the tall trees and the waves slowly rolling up along the sand and the cars in streets.

I slowed to a walk when I was out outside the hospital. To be honest I had no idea why I was here. My legs carried me into the hospital like they were being controlled by someone else.

"Sorry darlin' you can't go in there, visiting hours are over" the receptionist smiled with warm eyes

I wanted to say that I knew that and was about to turn around but my mouth and legs had different plans.

"I know I left my purse in there and I need it" I stuttered

"Oh okay love but quickly I'll turn the camera off for you"

I smiled at the receptionist wondering why she was helping me but I shrugged my shoulders and walked towards the elevator to head up to Jai's room.

I punched in the number of Jai's security door. After walking in I sat in the chair Alana sits in at Jai's head, I slipped my hand inside his.

Since last time his hand had warmed up reasonably. I remember the last time I held his hand it was cold, lifeless even. But now it was warm and almost normal. His eyes were closed and his breaths even as he slept on

"Jai I'm sorry for everything" I murmured "you don't deserve what I did to you. I just got so mad about Georgia I forgot what I felt"

"Even though what you did was wrong, I'm in the wrong as well, with Trent and everything. It kills me to know I almost killed you, it kills me to know how much I must've hurt you even though you hurt me" I sobbed quietly "but I love Trent now"

I gave his hand a small squeeze and turned to walk away but felt something pull me back. I gave a yelp in surprise as I was turned and was facing Jai.

"Jai your awake" I stampered

"Yeah I am, thanks for noticing"

"Don't be a smart ass Jai!"

"Sorry"

"No I'm sorry" I demanded heavily

"I know" he sighed "is it true"

"True about what?"

"That you love Trent"

"That is completely true Jai, every word of it was, I can't helps feelings"

"I know" he sighed

We were silent for a few moments until Jai broke the silence again

"So why are you here?" he asked

"I... i.. good question?" I said as a question to myself not as a statement

"Well"

"I said something really stupid Jai" I sighed "I didn't mean it honestly"

"Go back and apologise to him" he smiled up to me through the darkness

"How do you know that it's about Trent?"

"Bee honestly I know you to well"

I gave a soft chuckle

"Thanks jai" I smiled and kissed his check then ran out his room

I walked slowly back to the hotel thinking of what to say to Trent. The more I thought about it the more I hated myself. But then again why would I sleep with him? I mean yeah maybe in a couple of years but right now, no. We are both only fourteen, fifteen in a couple of months, and I don't want that. Surely he doesn't either. I came to the front doors of the hotel and the boys were all pacing.
