Won't Let You Go (Jai Waetford)~

Im making an effort okay!?

"I'm going to make the effort, I am not going to start a fight, I am going to be nice to her, I am not going to be picky" i start to murmur to myself as I walked to Keeleys house.

I decided if we were all gonna be happy families or all be friends at least I need to at least be on talking terms with Keeley cause it's not fair on Jai

you better feel lucky jai, I wouldn't do this for just anyone you know!

"Cmon Tara hurry up!" i exclaimed as Tara was on the go slow

"I'm coming but unlike some I've got five inch heels on!" she replied

"well unlike some I've clearly got a brain so settled with vans!"

"well unlike some..." she trailed off "I don't have on right now but!"

"but what?" I smirked

"at least I don't wear vans with like every outfit I wear!"

"well guess what vans are comfy and they go with everything and I can actually walk and run in them"

"I can run in heels thank you very much"

I raised my eye brows to he and smirked

"fine I'll show you" she replied

she ran about 4 steps maybe until she stacked it.

"I'm a clutz as it is okay! it wasn't because of the heels" she defended herself as I helped her up

"let's just hurry up before I change my mind about the whole thing" I muttered before I resumed to power walking.

"look I just want what's best for Jai and he's unhappy that we can't be friends for whatever reason. We need to be on talking terms and at least act like friends" I explained

I shifted uncomfortably on the couch Tara an I were seated on, Keeley seated on the chair across from us.

"Keeley she's trying to fix things and there's plenty of reasons why she shouldn't. I know she hasn't exactly being the sorta person who has been really cooperative but then you haven't been either"

"Don't go blaming this on me" she warned glaring at Tara slightly

"I'm not blaming you, you've both got something to be blamed for" Tara smirked

"okay fine I wanted to be friends with her from the start but she wouldn't let me" Keeley replied

"thank you Keeley I'm only doing this for Jai"

"well so am I so I don't owe you any favours"

I nodded my head once then stood up.

"cmon Tara lets go"

"right see ya Keeley"

"bye"

Tara and I walked out onto the street and started our walk back to Tara's.

"that went okay I guess" I started

"yeah it did" Tara replied "will you ever be friends with her?"

"I don't know..."

"it's just the jealously talking"

"Mhmm I guess so"

"wanna go to emily and Meiks then and try and forget all this?"

"yeah that would be good we could play the Xbox or something with em" I nodded, agreeing to her suggestion

"awesome lets go" Tara nodded and we headed towards the direction of Emilys house.

"ha! yes I won again!" Tara exclaimed throwing the control on the couch and doing a victory la

"how come she always wins!?" Meika sulked

"hey going out with someone like Nick who lives and breaths video games it has its advantages" Tara defended herself

"I don't think that's a good thing" Emily sighed

"yeah I wouldn't be going around telling everyone that" I smiled

"okay well how about we play MarioKart then?" Tara suggested "Two on two?"

"okay I got Meiks and Taz you and Bee can go together" Emily organised

"yes sir!" the three of us mocked a salute

she laughed and changed the game over. And then the completion began.

"Oh yeah we won we one-un boo yeahhh" Tara and I sung and danced

"You only won cause Taz is on your team!" Meika cried

"Hey I bet her in like two races" i defended

"Out of what like sixteen maybe" emily smirked

"At least I won some okay! that's a big achievement for me" I replied cooly

Meiks phone started ringing.

"Yeah we're all here at Emilys" she would pause every so often listening to the response of the other person on the phone "it's Em, Taz, myself and Bee"

"Yes I guess"

"We're playing the Xbox"

"Okay see you soon"

"No one of the boys are here"

"Yes it's just us girls"

"Goodbye I'll see you soon"

We all looked at her with questioned looks on our faces.

"Keeley is coming over in like five minutes"

I tried to hold in a sigh and Tara looked at me followed by emily and Meiks faces. Its not exactly a secret I don't particularly get on with the girl!

"Right okay we can do that" I nodded

Ems and Meiks eyes widened slightly and they processed what I had said, allowing Keeley to come over. Tara smiled at me and gave me a small encouraging nod.

There was a knock at the door and I could already hear her giggling with emily when she opened the door.

This is going to be a long afternoon
