"Now the teams will be un-even" Tara sighed
"Yeah that's a complication hey" Meika stated
"I can go" Keeley suggested
"No how about we go one on one and the winner verses another then the loser of that verses the last loser and then who ever wins that plays the other and then whoever wins that plays the winner in a grandfinal race" I explained
They all stared at me with blank faces
"English?" Emily asked
"Argh" I sighed and started to explain again "oka-"
Keeley cut me off and explained again
"What's she's saying is, Bee and Emily play each other, who ever wins that plays Meika. Who ever wins that plays Tara and the loser is out. Whoever plays that plays me and then whoever wins that plays the last winner in a winning round"
"Again, english?" Tara asked
Keeley looked at me
"Are they honestly that dumb?" she questioned
"Sometimes I think that exactly" i sighed
"It's sad really were friends with them" Keeley nodded m
"Let's just play cause I feel you two are paying us out" Meika stated
"Okay so who plays first?" Tara asked
"Me and Emily" I sighed
"Fine lets get started" emily
smiled "its on like donkey kong"
"Your gonna get squished like a squash" I smiled

"Go Bee!" Tara screamed at me
"Go Keeley!" Emily screamed after
"Both of you suck!" Meika yelled; what a support she is
"YESSS!" I screamed as I drove over the finish line with a whisker to spare in front of Keeley
"WHOOOO GO BEE!" Tara yelled as she hugged me
"Good drive" I smiled at Keeley
"Well done" she smiled and shook my hand
"Beaunka is the winner of this mariokart championships" Emily announced
"What do I win?!" I screamed in excitement
"The choice of topping on the pizza! And the opportunity to pay for it"
"CHEESE, PINEAPPLE AND CHICKEN PIZZA ALL THE WAY" Keeley and I both screamed at the same time.
We looked at each other then laughed and sprinted to the phone to order it.

~ a few days later ~
"Dad can we maybe go to Tobys?" I asked as we sat at the table during lunch
"I thought you didn't talk to him anymore?"
"Well I don't but I think it's time we sorted our shit out" I replied
"That's fair enough" he smiled "I'll ring his mum later today and see if I can go around!"
"Thanks daddy" I smiled and then kissed his check and went to get dressed.
I had a quick shower and washed my hair. I decided to wear a pair of grey denim shorts with a long white flowing shirt with a ying-yang on the front. I blow dried my hair and then straightened it.
I braided my fridge then bobby pinned it to the back of my head. I picked out my black vans.
I walked down stairs and dad was ready with the car keys.
On the car ride I started to plait the bottom of my hair like I always did when I was nervous while butting my lip.
"You know," dad started "you don't need to be so nervous. I mean you two were best friends, doesn't mean anything a changed."
"That's the thing dad. Everything's changed now"
