Chapter 2: Trouble

I wake up as the sun beams through my bedroom window. I look at my alarm clock which reads 8:45! I jump out of bed putting on some sweats and a T-shirt. I run to the bathroom brush my teeth and throw my hair into a messy bun. I grab my books and pour some coffee into a cup. I grab a energy bar and head to my car. I check the time it's 9:00. First period starts at 9:08.

I arrive at school with 2 minutes to spare. Thank god I live close to school. I go straight to first period take my seat and the bell rings.

Conor didn't try and talk to me, which was smart because I was still mad at him. I just don't understand him. he didn't try to talk to me until lunch rolled around.

"Hey" Conor said to me in a awkward tone.

"I'm really sorry about yesterday" he says to me waiting for me to respond.

"I thought you were different, different from all the other jerks at this school. I guess I was wrong." I say to him in disappointment.

"I am different" Conor tries to convince me.

"No your not. I actually started to like you, and thought you liked me". I railed off as I walked to the lunch room.

I grab so food and take a seat with Maggie and Sarah.

"Hey so how'd it go with mr. Hottie"? Sarah asks while Maggie scans my face for a reaction.

"I don't want to talk about it". I tell them. they back off realizing I'm serious.

"Want to go to the mall after school? Sarah and I are gonna go check out the trends. You know the usual". Maggie asked me prepared to pull or the puppy dog pout.

"Sure, maybe it will make me feel better".

We all met at my car after school and drive to my house so I could grab my wallet.

When we got their their was a box on the porch addressed to me. There was a small card that read "hey neighbor" I look to the house next to us that was for sale to see Conor smirking at me as he took the 'For Sale' sign out of the yard next door.

Great, Just great.

I walk in to my house put the box in my room, grab my wallet, and leave my mom a note telling her where I am.

I lock the door and climb into my car. I drive still wondering whats in that box.

4 shopping bags into shopping we stop for some food. We get to only go shopping like this every once in a while since we only work during the summer. We got lotion, candles, and some body mists from Bath and Body Works. We also went to get some clothing from forever 21 and H&M. We also got a few things from Victoria secret.

I got a Jamba Juice and some Chinese food (my favorite)! Maggie and Sarah both got some Mexican food that smelled delicious.

We had a great time at the mall but it was getting late so we decided to head back to my house to do some homework.

After we finished homework I drove Sarah and Maggie home so they could grab stuff for tomorrow since we were having a slumber party at my house!

"I can't believe all our moms said yes"! Sarah says as she squeals!

When we got back to my house we went upstairs and got dressed into pj's not noticing that Conor and Karmin making out in his room. I can see The bad thing was that Conor was looking strait at me.

I duck and close the widow and blinds. I didn't know that was gonna be his room.

The next day at school he came up to me before class and said smirking

"You and your friends look like you guys were having lots of fun last night" he said with a smirk on his face.

I looked at him I'm so angry, my feelings were hurt. I let it all out, I slap him in the face, hard.

A few seconds later I realized a teach was standing right their and saw everything. By everything I mean me slapping him

"Jane Smith and Conor Brown please report to my office"! The principle yells in angry voice over the intercom.
