Kemi POV

As I sat in front of the house with Travie after our awkward moment at Dairy Queen, I couldn't help but feel that this wasn't right. I mentally scolded myself for thinking about Michael. I mean after all, nobody told him to leave. I exhaled as I checked my phone one last time before Travie gingerly touched my hand and said. "You too beautiful to be pouting, smile for me."

I turned my head and smiled weakly. "Thanks for tonight Travie."

"No problem," he replied leaning back in his seat, "I had fun too."

"We should do this again?" I asked gathering up my stuff.

"I would like that ma." Travie replied licking his lips.

I looked at Travie and really began to admire the fine specimen he was; he was 6'4 at least, a light mocha color and he had long dreads and the most striking pair of green eyes I'd ever seen before.

"Like what you see?" He chuckled fixing his snapback.

I blushed, turning a light rosy color. "You okay," I try to reply before blushing even more. I never got this nervous around guys, even if I was hanging with the homies. Or Michael for that reason, was I actually getting over him?

"If you say so shawty." Travie said in his thick southern accent sneaking a peek at a blushing Kemi. Feeling his eyes on her Kemi let out a nervous chuckle. "I guess this is goodnight?"

"Yeah, I guess this is let me walk you to the door." Travie said as he got out of his red 2013 Camry and made his way over to Kemi's door.

The pair silently walked to the door once there Kemi turned to him and said. "Thank you once again for tonight Travie."

"I already told you pretty girl don't worry bout it I gotchu." Travie said placing his SnapBack on Kemi's head.

"Okay," Kemi began leaning on the banister, "I'm gonna hold you to that, you know that right?" She finished looking up at him.

"I know." Travie replied as he closed the distance in one step between Kemi and himself and picking her up kissed her while he spun her around. Breaking the kiss Kemi held onto his neck and squealed as she felt him spin once more in the air. "Put me down!" Kemi shrieked.

Laughing, Travie sat her down in a nearby chair. Kemi glared at him as she searched for her keys. "Bye Travis." She said unlocking the door, standing there Travie looked at her confusedly. "Travis? What did I do now?" He said throwing his hands in the air. "One," Kemi began closing the door slightly, "keep your voice down! People are trying to sleep. Two, I hate being picked up."

"Why didn't you say that in the beginning?" Travie replied leaning on the banister.

"Goodnight," Kemi said over her shoulder smiling at Travie, "call me when you get home?"

"Of course. One more hug for the road?" Travie replied extending his arms.

"Fine." Kemi said smiling as she walked into Travie's warm embrace.

What a good night this was . . .

Zeni POV

Ever been so embarrassed all you can do is laugh? Well, I just had one of those moments. I sat there and continued to laugh while Que looked at me like I was crazy. Feeling weak from all the laughing I had done I managed in between laughs. "Can you help me up?"

Silently, he helped me to my feet and lead me upstairs to my room. Entering my room with Que in the lead I started to feel really nervous, like the first time I snuck out the house nervous. I sat down on my bed and Que sat down on Kemi's. It was quiet at first, except for the sounds of the bugs outside and the occasional cars that passed.
