CHAPTER 4
Seth’s POV:
It was like the world stood still, like time had stopped, it was only her. I heard yelling and growling, but all I could see was her, all I could hear was her sweet, soft voice. She twirled her red hair as she stood, her weight shifted on one foot. I snapped out of my trance as Leah and Edward lunged at one another. Lilly’s green orbs grow into prefect circles as her brother collides with Emmett. Everything seemed to move in slow motion as Jacob caught Leah and dragged her outside so she could phase.
“What the hell is your issue Edward?!” Lilly shouted.
Edward still looked furious. His eyes were jet black, not to mention the growling that was coming from of his chest. It was a pretty scary sight for someone who didn’t know what was going on. Just then a short girl with shocking bright blue eyes walked out.
“What’s going on?” she asked.
Edward calmed at once.
“Cole, love, how are you feeling?” he asked wrapping his pale arms around her small frame.
“I feel-” she stopped for a second. “I feel-” she paused again.
Edward left in a flash and returned just as fast with a bucket. The contents of Cole’s stomach released immediately.
Lilly walked over and helped hold Cole up, though I’m not sure why. I’m pretty sure with Edward being a vampire that he could have held her up himself. After Cole was done, she wiped her mouth with the back of her hand.
“I’m sorry you had to see that…” she said, in a hoarse voice.
Everyone shrugged.
“Alright, Seth, Leah, let’s get going on border patrol.” Jake said in his new found alpha tone.
I frowned. I really wanted to stay in here with Lilly, but I knew I had to follow Jake’s orders.
“Well, I guess I’ll see you later,” I said, smiling sadly.
Lilly smiled, showing a perfect row of white teeth.
“Yeah, later,” her voice was so smooth and soft it lingered in my mind, even after I phased. I thought of those words coming out of those perfect pink lips and the perfect curls of that perfect bronze hair and that perfect figure.
Jesus, Seth get a of yourself! Jake thought.
Sorry man, I can’t help it...
Why did it have to be HER! It couldn’t have been someone normal, but no, it had it be the BLOODSUCKERS BABY SISTER!!!! Leah said, freaking out.
It’s not like he can control it! Jacob argued.
I guess you would know all about that, huh, Jake? Just ask Bella!
Jacob and Leah’s auguring became background noise as I pushed myself faster. With Lilly’s image in front and centre, I focused on the task at hand. Protect the Cullen’s.
Protect Lilly.
