CHAPTER 8
My face lit up when I saw Seth standing there dressed up.
“Leah picked out the shirt.” he said noticing I was looking.
“I like it. It looks good” I said with a smile.
He was wearing a red and blue plaid shirt and blue jeans. His normally messy hair was combed.
“so are you ready?” he asked
I nodded. I could feel Edwards glare towards us as we left. It got worse as Seth opened the door to the rabbit and I could hear the faint sound of a wolf growling. Seth smiled as he got in.
“siblings” he said
I laughed which made his smile widen. We drove away quickly as we both herd the growling increase from his comment.
“so were to?” I asked
Seth looked at me, like I knew something I shouldn’t.
“what do you mean?” he asked
“you never told me what movie were going to” I said hiding how amused I was when he looked relived.
“first were going to eat” he said a smile playing at his lips.
“eat?” I asked
“you are hungry right I asked Jake to make sure you didn’t eat” he said.
It took all the energy in me not to laugh.
“I’m hungry” I said with a smile
“Jake told he didn’t he” he said looking hurt.
I felt kind of hurt myself. I hated seeing him like this.
“No, he just told me not to eat, and I kind of guessed” I said.
He perked up a bit. I guess white lies didn’t count as lying right?
“oh ok, that’s good” his smile returned as we continued to drive to Port Angeles.
We talked about everything under the sun.
“so why don’t you drink blood?” he asked
“ I don’t like the taste all that much, and I really don’t like hurting the animals” I said.
But there was a serious question on my mind and as always he knew.
“what’s on your mind?” he asked his hand grabbing mind even though he was till driving.
