CHAPTER 14
Seth stood there for a minute. I waited for him to leave so I could fall apart.
“Lilly-” he said
“just go!” I yelled.
He stepped towards me and kissed my check. He left. I fell to my knees and sobbed. I curled up into a ball and cried.
“Lilly” Edward called from my doorway.
“I hate you!” I yelled.
Edward looked unpased by my comment.
“if I didn’t have to deal with you then he might still be here!” I screamed.
“it was your choice!” he yelled back.
“because you weren’t going to give up this whole overprotective shit so I had to do what I had to do!” I yelled
I felt like there was a huge hole in my chest and I knew Seth’s warm hugs and sweet kisses would fix me.
“he’s not the one for you Lilly, you’ll find him someday, just not him” Edward said.
“And how do you know?” I asked unable to see anybody but Seth.
“just trust me” he said.
I cries for a very long time. I locked my self up in my room for longer. The other were back. Mom dad and Nicole were still in Alaska but were doing good. I saw Seth sometimes through my window. I had to fight the urge to run to him. He looked so broken.
“Lilly wake up!” Emmett yelled
“huh?” I asked
Emmett picked me up and through me over his shoulder.
“Emmett!” I yelled “what’s going on?!” I asked
“Sam’s pack is attacking.” he said.
I wiggled my way out of Emmett’s grip.
“What are we going to do?” I asked.
“defend, try and show them that Eddie is growing and that Nicole isn’t here, if that doesn’t work, we fight” he said
I nodded. I would do what ever it took to protect my family. We all stood there ready to fight. I growled and fought with the pair of arms that dragged me back.
“Lilly stop!” Jake said
“what are you doing?” I asked
“it’s Seth” Jake said.
I tried not to look concerned but I was worried.
“what’s wrong?” I asked trying to sound indifferent.
“drop the act Lilly, I know you still care about him and you still love him” Jake said
“What makes you say that? I broke up with him if I do remember right” I said crossing my arms.
“I have an imprint so I know what it’s like, and I do recall you brother doing something similar to this” Jake said a small smile on his lips. “Leah would have killed you by now if she wasn’t trying to keep Sam at bay”
“I didn’t know”
“my point is Seth’s really down, and you’re the only one you can clear his head” Jake said
“but I broke up with him”
“we both know that’s not what you want to do” he said
I nodded
“where is he?” I asked.
“in the trees somewhere and thanks Lilly”
“No Thank you, I was going insane with out him, hopefully he takes me back”
