CHAPTER 18

Lilly’s POV

I blinked my eyes. Visions if yesterday flooded my mind. What happened with the pack? What about Eddie and Nicole? I looked around my room and jumped when I saw a raven haired boy sleeping with his head on my bed but he was sitting on a chair. I sighed with relief when I saw it was Seth. I ran my fingers through his soft hair. He sighed in his sleep which made me giggle. It hurt to giggle. 

“Dad” I called softly knowing he could hear me. 

Carlisle and Edward walked into my room. 

“how are you Feeling?” Carlisle asked 

“Achy” I said 

“I could give you some pain medication” he said

“not yet” I said glancing at Seth. “how long have I been…”

“three days” he said finishing my sentence. “he refuses to leave your side, your mother has been bringing him food but he hasn’t been eating” Carlisle said 

Carlisle checked me over and said not to move around too much and then left. Leaving just me and Edward. 

“how’s Eddie?” I asked 

“just fine” he said with a faint ghost of a smile.

“and Nicole?” I asked 

Edward growled. 

“Emmett’s keeping a good eye on her” he said through his teeth. 

“don’t be mad at her, it’s not her fault” I said

“she hit you so hard that it ruptured your spleen and almost killed you!” he spat.

“she’s a newborn!” I snapped. 

My left side hurt. I clenched my left side.

“I’m sorry!” Edward said panicked.

“just shut up!” I said 

Edward did what I asked. 

I breathed through my nose trying to regain what peace I had left so I wouldn’t start crying.

“Lilly?” Edward asked.

“just leave me alone.” I snapped. 

“I’m going to go down stairs” he said 

I glared at him.

I watched as the sun raise painted pictures on my blue walls as I waited for Seth to wake up. I needed his comforting touch and soothing words. I ran my figures through his hair again. And gently touched the skin of my palm down his sweet face. Seth began to stir.
