CHAPTER 10
The screams stopped after a few hours which I was very thankful for. Both me and Baby Edward needed our sleep. I was going to get my cast off tomorrow and Seth’s the day after that. Esme was Feeding Eddie one more time before bed, so I could look in Alice’s room for Baby stuff. I smiled a huge smile when I hit the jack pot. There was Baby stuff everywhere. I saw the blue basest in the corner and dragged it to my room. I grabbed a few diapers and a onesie, that was dark blue and said in green letters ’daddy’s little monster’ it mad me miss my brother. I grabbed whatever else I thought I might need and when down stairs to change my nephew.
“the others caught sent of Edward” Carlisle said when I was down the stairs “but then they lost it, they think maybe he took a car somewhere but were not sure.”
“he’ll be home soon, huh buddy?” I said cooing at the baby. “thanks for feeding him mom” I said smiling at her.
She smiled back.
“Anytime dear, there is something me and your farther want to discus with you” she said
I finished placing Eddie in his onesies.
“yeah?” I asked.
“Nicole will be done changing soon and she is going to be a newborn and with both you and Eddie I don’t think it’s safe for her to be around here until she gains control. I’m going to take her up to Alaska” he said.
I saw him glance at Esme and I knew how much they hated being apart.
“Are you going mom?” I asked
“no dear, you need me here” she said but I could tell it hurt to think of her with out dad.
“I have everything under control, the others will find Edward and it will all get better” I said smiling a bright smile at my parents.
“are you sure?” Esme asked
“yeah, I want to do this it’s my nephew, I just feel it’s really important that I take care of him since Edwards gone” I said
Esme kissed the top of my head.
“only if your sure.” she said
I nodded
“go get some sleep, you both look exhausted” Carlisle said. “we’re leaving tomorrow after your cast is off and then I’ll also take Seth’s off, it seems to be healing faster then yours”
I nodded and went back to my room and placed Eddie in his bed and the curled up next to Seth.

NEXT DAY.
I woke up surprised I slept through the night I quickly got up and ran to Eddie’s bad. I sighed with relief when his bright alert eyes met my green ones.
“oh thank god!” I said picking him up.
“you ok?” Seth asked.
“yeah fine, I didn’t hear him cry so I was a little worried.” I said patting Eddie’s back. “Carlisle’s going to take our casts off” I said smiling at my boyfriend.
“oh I can’t wait!” he said getting out of bed “they get really uncomfortable after a while”
“yeah they do” Seth went down stars as I changed Eddies diaper and put him in fresh clothes.
I grabbed the baby’s blanket and went down stars. Esme held Eddie as I got my cast removed.
“it healed well, can you move it” Carlisle asked.
I moved my arm
“is there any pain?” he asked
“nope” I said with a smile
Carlisle smiled back
“Alright Seth your turn” he said
Seth’s cast was quickly removed and he was looked over. Seth did everything he was told to do until he got the OK.
“the others will send someone to check on you soon, and then there going to leave again until they find Edward, this will happen once a week and you will call everyday. Jake and Leah are outside if you need anything and of course Seth is here” Esme said Handing me Eddie.
‘What if I need to go shopping for diapers or run out of blood for him?” I asked
“go to Seattle and if he needs more blood your going to need to hunt and gather the blood I have some put away that should last a few more weeks,” Carlisle said
I nodded. I could do this. I had to do this for my brother there was no way I was letting him down. I hugged my parents good bye and off they went with Nicole in the backset off to Alaska so she could start her new life. A tear fell from my green eyes.
“don’t worry babe, he’ll be home soon” Seth said.
“I hope so” I said wiping the tears.
