There is a phenomenon unique to Britain when a large number of people are taking advantage of commercial breaks and turning on kettles to make tea, the increase in demand for electricity causes large synchronised surges in national electricity consumption. Electricity networks devote considerable resources to predicting and providing electricity supply for these very moments. I found this so British I had to write something about it, this chapter was based on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slDAvewWfrA

England was always a little anxious when these times came around, what if something went wrong? What if he had to beg his brothers or god forbid France for help? He wouldn't hear the end of it.

It was then decided, on this phone call. England picked up the ringing phone quickly.

"Sir something went wrong at the power plants!" A man spoke with a frightened voice, England's face went pale, "Blast it all!"

England rings up France quickly not thinking about the embarrassment that would come later,

"Hello this is Francis speaking~"

"FRO- FRANCE I'M IN SERIOUS NEED OF YOUR ASSISTANCE"

France pulled the phone away from his ear slightly, "sacre bleu what do you want this time Angleterre!?"

"MY COUNTRY IS IN A POWER CRISIS WE NEED SOME OF YOUR ELECTRICITY"

France raised a brow at the ridiculous sentence that just came out of the Brits mouth but remembered that England's power stations have a connection with his own and they will lend electricity when it is needed.

"alright mon ami don't bother me again..."

"THANK YOU FRANCE UHHH GIT" England said flustered.

France sighed and smiled putting the phone down, "He can never be honest with anyone can he?"

England sighed and sat down on his couch, "Well, back to Doctor Who I suppose"

Sorry if this chapter was a little shit I didn't really know how to write a good chapter for this I just found the thought of power surges in electricity because of people turning on kettles unique to the UK so British and ironic. I know this whole TV pickup is true because I live in England myself XD
