Maggie's POV

Nang magising siya ay dali dali niyang tinungo ang banyo, morning sickness is not her cup of tea, she was slumped down on the toilet heaving.

Gusto man niyang magtoothbrush ay di niya magawa because she's not in her house, gusto man niyang gamitin ang toothbrush ni Kash ay hindi niya ginawa. Nagkasya na lamang siyang gamitin ang daliri to brush her teeth and gargled using the available mouthwash inside the bathroom.

Nang makalabas sa banyo ay tinungo niya ang bedside table and reached for her handbag, nang makapa niya ang cellphone sa loob ay inilabas niya iyon, there's 11 missed calls and 8 messages from Allie.

She texted her whereabouts to Allie at ilang sandali pa ay tinawagan siya nang kaibigan which she answered.

"What are you doing there?!"

she asked her eagerly.

"Remember that scent I was telling you guys last night? It was coming from him, pinaglilihian ko siya, last night he brought me here and we talked about the pregnancy, we decided that it is best for the baby if I stay with Kash until I give birth"

napasinghap ang kaibigan sa ibinalita niya.

"Awwe... I'm glad you two are working things out together"

she could sense na masaya ito.

"We're doing this for the baby, Allie. Nothing more"

tumawa ito nang bahagya sa kabilang linya.

"If you say so..."

She'll be damned if she thinks there could be something more between them and Kash is not the type of guy she would want to end up with in the first place.

"Mags? There's something I want to tell you but I wasn't able to dahil sa kaganapan kagabi"

"O? Ano 'yun Allie?"

"I am engaged"

she couldn't contain her happiness sa nabalitaan.

"What?! OMG!!! Congratulations Allie"

"Thank you Mags and I would like you to know na ikaw ang maid of honor sa kasal ko. I won't take no for an answer"

"I'd love to"

They scheduled a girl's day out to further talk about the happenings in both of their lives. She has an appointment in an hour with Vaughn kaya medyo bitin ang usapan nilang dalawa over the phone.

"I'll see you this Friday Mags. Take care of yourself"

Matapos silang magpaalamang dalawa ay agad din naman niyang inayos ang sarili to make herself presentable and gathered all of her stuff. Kailangan niyang umuwi para kumuha nang ilang damit na kakailanganin niya.

She was about to head out nang may matandang humarang sa main door nang bahay.

"Good morning Miss Maggie. I am Greg, personal butler ni Master Kash"

pagpapakilala nang naka unipormadong matanda sa kanya.

"Hello Greg, tawagin mo na lamang akong Maggie... it was nice meeting you but I have to go may kailangan lang akong gawin"

napatingin siya sa suot niyang relo, she still have enough time to pack her needed stuff and make it to her appointment on time.

"Miss Maggie, mahigpit na ipinagbilin po ni Master Kash na wag kayong papalabasin without informing him first"

What?! She didn't signed up to be a prisoner in this house.

"Well can you please inform him right this instant?! hindi ako kriminal na ikukulong niya rito sa pamamahay niya"

hindi niya napigilang magtaas nang tono. She feels sorry for what she did halatang nataranta ang matanda sa tono nang boses niya. Sumusunod lamang ito sa pinag uutos ni Kash and directing her anger at the old man is wrong. She took a deep sighed to release some tension.

May inilabas itong cellphone mula sa breast pocket nito and called Kash. Ikinuwento nito rito ang nangyari. She even had the chance to talk to him, in the end he gave his butler the signal to let her go but there's a catch... may itinalaga itong dalawang bodyguards para buntutan ang galaw niya.

This time siya na mismo ang tumawag kay Kash informing him that she's not pleased with the security he'd placed on her but Kash being Kash... have his ways para masunod ito, its either may bodyguard siya or he'll fire the hired guards making her the prime reason kung bakit nawalan ito nang trabaho na siyang kailangan nang mga ito para masustentuhan ang mga binubuhay nitong pamilya and she refuse to let that happen.

She unhappily ended the call kaso naalala niyang mayroon siyang nakalimutang sabihin rito.

"Makakalimuting tanga"

aniya sa sarili.

She called him again and told him about the check up with Dr. Saavedra later this afternoon, from the sound of his voice he doesn't seem to be happy sa narinig at alam niyang this has something to do with Vaughn, he even suggested to look for another doctor na siyang kinontra niya. Sa huli ay wala ding itong nagawa at sinabing susunduin siya nito sa kanyang condo and they'll head to Vaughn's clinic together, not as a couple but as parents to their unborn child.
