Kash's POV

He can't help but smile habang pinagmamasdan si Maggie enjoying her third slice of pepperoni and cheese pizza.

After her little meltdown kanina ay napagtanto niyang he needed to have patience in dealing with her, sabi nga ni Vaughn sa kanya its the hormones that are affecting her mood swings.

He took her to an Italian restaurant that is well known in the city for their service and good food. He used to come here often, ngayon na lamang siya muling nakabalik rito na siya namang ikinatuwa nang management ng naturang restaurant.

"You come here often?"

tanong ni Maggie sa kanya.

"Used to"

he said while placing another slice of pizza on Maggie's plate.

"With Cel?..."

why can't she just focus on her damn pizza? why did she even mentioned that name anyway?!

The sound of silver cutlery echoed through the restaurant when he carelessly toss them on their table causing the other customers to look in their direction.

"Let's go"

He stood up on their table and yank Maggie out of her seat, she didn't even tried to struggle at hinayaan lang siya nito.

"Just send the bill to my place"

aniya sa manager nang restaurant who seemed to be paler than usual, might be because natatakot ito sa kanya.

Nang makalabas sila ay binitawan niya si Maggie, nagpatiuna na ito sa kanya patungo nang sasakyan, he knew she's mad at him but its her fault kung bakit siya nagkakaganito.

The night was perfect but then her pretty mouth ruined it in a flash just by the mention of that name that he despised.

By the time he was able to get in the driver's seat, Maggie is busy tapping on her phone and is ignoring his presence.

"Buckle up"

utos niya rito nang mapansin niyang hindi ito naka seatbelt.

She did as she was told and is back on her phone again matapos nitong maikabit ang seatbelt nito.

He took a couple of lengthy breaths at kinausap ito, it may take quite some time but he needed to clear the air between them bago siya magmaneho, baka maaksidente pa sila because of him being reckless dahil sa init nang ulo.

"Aren't you going to say something?"

paninimula niya.

Imbes na sagutin siya ay nakatuon lamang si Maggie sa hawak nitong cellphone.

He snatched the phone out of her grip, hindi nito inaasahan ang sunod niyang ginawa the look of disbelief and shock is clearly seen on Maggie's face when he throws the phone out of the car.

"Huwag mong ibunton sa akin ang galit mo sa ibang tao. Hindi ako siya!"

galit nitong baling sa kanya.

"Nakalimutan ko yung lugar ko sa buhay mo. Wala akong karapatan na panghimasukan ang anumang bagay tungkol sa'yo. Nabuntis mo lang ako."

dagdag pa ni Maggie.

What she said stunned him. His anger overshadowed his reasoning, Maggie's curiosity might've gotten the best of her nang hindi niya sinasadyang mabanggit ang pangalan ni Celina rito nang nakaraang gabi.

"Maggie..."

naputol ang sasabihin niya nang muli itong magsalita.

"Let's go home, pagod na ako".

He messed up, alam niya iyon, he took a glance at Maggie's direction, she looked tired. Tired of him? maybe... but he'll try to make it up to her.

He started the car's ignition and make the trip back to their home.

Nang makarating sila ay dire diretso lamang si Maggie papunta sa kwarto nila habang siya naman ay tumungo sa bar area, he needed to clear his head off and a shot of alcohol could do the trick.

Madaling araw na siyang nakapanhik sa kanyang kwarto, Maggie's sleeping form in his bed is visible through the dark. He slowly made his way in bed careful not to make any sudden noises that might wake her up
Pinagmasdan niya ang maamo nitong mukha, bared of any make-up, barely stroking her cheeks with his finger. How lucky he is that despite of his monstrous attitude ay desidido pa din itong manatili sa poder niya, for him not to miss a single day seeing his child grow inside of her.

"I'm sorry mama bear"

he lightly placed a kiss on her perfectly shaped nose. His hands trailing down to her almost visible bump and lingered there as he cuddled next to her.

"I'm sorry baby bear, I didn't mean to upset your mom"

saad nito sa naaantok na boses and allowed sleep to take over his body.
