News of Lauren and I's break up spread like wildfire. The hot and young same sex couple was no more, and that was huge news. Tabloids, talk shows, our brake up was just another one for the 2016 surprise break up lists. The public first knew of our break up when the Fifth Harmony girls were asked who's single and everyone raised their hands, including Lauren. Since then many speculations about our break up went around. Then, the guys and I were in an interview and asked the same question. I raised my hand. The break up speculations became true to the public and it was everywhere.

Ever since that night when Lauren and I had that talk on the beach, was the last time we spoke. She hasn't tried to call me or text me and I'm not sure how I should feel. I appreciate Lauren for giving me some space. My feelings for Lauren are still there but I still can't get over what she did to me. She broke my heart, smashing it into millions of pieces. But I still love her and I don't think that would ever go away.

A lot has happened since then though. The guys and I are now almost done with our first album. The songs just need to be mastered and we are set. The album is supposed to be out in 3 weeks. We have one single and a promo song out already and it has been doing very well on the charts. Our single is called "Let's Not Be Alone Tonight." We performed it on our tour, finally made an audio version and made it our single. The promo song is called "Little White Lies." We also performed that on our tour, made an audio version and released it. We are deciding on releasing another promo song within the next few days. It's called "Sing." This song is never heard yet and will be all acapella.

Our first album is titled 'Mixed Elements.' The reason is because we are showcasing what we can do. Having songs where we are playing instruments, songs where we are singing, and songs that are solely acapella. We have a smooth transition into the different styles to make everything flow. There are 12 songs and 2 bonus songs for our deluxe version. 1-4 are us playing the instruments, 5-8 are just us singing and other people playing the instruments, and 9-12 are acapella. The 2 bonus songs is our cover of 'Goodbye' by WhoIsFancy, which we got the rights to do, and another original song.

This past week, everyone was just relaxing in our Cali home. Before the 2 week mark hit before our album release, the gang gets a week free. Then once it's 2 weeks, we begin promoting. Doing interviews and little performances where ever we can get to promote the album.

Everyone has been trying to do as much as we can since we have the freedom to do so. We are surfing, long boarding, hanging out with our individual friends. I even got to hang out with Henry and his crew a couple times. It's great to see them and be around them. Despite their jokes about being a celebrity, I like being around them. They make me feel like a normal teen again.
