Summer's POV
I rolled over in bed and saw that Matty was still passed out, and snoring softly, at least he doesn't sound like a train this morning. I'm feeling refreshed for a change, I've had a good night's rest, which I must say has been very hard to achieve for a while. I can feel Brax moving around, he kicks me hard most times, but it is one feeling I can't get enough of, I love it.
Deciding to leave my sleeping husband in bed, I carefully peeled myself up off the bed and went over to our walk in robe. What to wear? Like i have much option with this gigantic belly of mine. I grabbed a pair of leggings and one of Matty's shirts, that I have basically been living in and slipped them on. No underwear, I can't be stuffed putting any on, and besides, it's not like I'm leaving the house today.
I walked into Brax's room and decided to get all his clothes washed, and ready. The baby bag also needs to be packed, so I started on that. After piling a heap of his clothes into the basket, nearly tosing the thing down the stairs, I chucked them in the washing machine. Last week I found the best way to remove the small stuff, that always gets stuck on the bottom. Matty's barbeque tongs, he hasn't noticed them missing yet.
With time to burn while waiting for the first load to finish, I got stuck into the kitchen. I pulled out everything, and placed them on the tiles, all the containers, bowls, saucepans, the lot. Cleaned every surface in the cupboards before putting it all back, reorganised and back in their right spots.
After just starting my third load of washing, I vacuumed the carpet in the formal living area, mopped the floors, wiped over nearly every surface on the ground floor of the house. Tackling the pantry was fun, I just grabbed the bin and threw most of it away, since I found a packet with the used by date 2011. That one more than likely came from the apartment when we moved.
"Babe, what the hell are you doing?" Matty said as I had my ass up in the air, legs wide apart to keep me balanced and my head in a shelf as I wiped it down. You don't realise how much dust collects on them things, it was like nearly an inch thick.
"Cleaning." I said stating the obvious, and continued to wipe.
"Yeah I see that, why?" i could just see his face scrunching up in confusion, and I can hear him moving something.
"Coz I can." I replied with a shrug, which he can't even see anyways.
"Summer, have you noticed what time it is?" he asked, and what I can only think he was doing, closing a rubbish bag.
"Not really, I've been up for a couple hours, I'm on my third load of washing, and basically scrubbed the whole kitchen inside and out, mopped and wiped everything." I said as I used the shelf above me to stand up straight, I turned to look at him, he was still naked. His eyes still look tired, and I let my eyes drop to my favourite toy, even soft he is huge, I could stare at him all day.
