Love in Her Eyes, Hurt in Her Life

Chapter 7

My least favorite part of the school day, or at least one of them, Statistics. Flynn is sitting behind me, as usual. I really don't like this, but thankfully Hiccup sits next to me. We are in the middle of the class and I'm trying to pay attention and understand what my teacher is talking about. I'm just having trouble understanding. I know I need to do a lot of studying tonight. Let's just say I have a quiz or test coming up in, so far, almost all my classes.

Finally the bell rings and I leave the class as quick as I can. I head to my locker and put my book bag in and then I head to Gym. I head to the locker rooms and I change into black Danskin Now shorts with a white trim and a Disney Academy t-shirt. It's a light blue shirt and white writing.

Today in Gym we are running laps and doing other work outs: push ups, sit ups, chin ups, supermans, and yo-yo's. Thankfully I haven't had a bad run-in with Flynn. I've had smaller ones such as being shoved against the lockers, which is an everyday thing, and having my English notes taken. Thankfully I got my notes back, with Jack's help, but I got them back.

"You're going to have to be in a cast and boot for six weeks." The doctor says. I'm at the hospital because during Gym my ankle broke. Basically I was doing yo-yo's and Flynn did something, I can't explain, and I hurt a crack then I'm on the floor in pain. Jack and Elsa are with me. Jack drove me to the hospital and Elsa accompanied us.

"What color cast would you like?" The nurse asks handing me a laminated sheet with the cast colors. I decide on a purple cast and a black boot so I can walk better. I still have to be on crutches though.

After I get my cast and boot on Jack and Elsa drive me home. The school knows that I won't be at school for the rest of the day. Jack and Elsa have to go back though. Jack and Elsa both help me upstairs to my room. I give Elsa the keys to my car so my car won't be at school all night. Elsa will drive it to my house and since she and Anna share a car, Anna will drive them both home after.

I end up just laying in my bed and watching tv. I come across the CW channel and I watch the show The Flash. It's a really good show. It's just reruns showing though, considering season two just ended and I've seen every episode. The Flash is one of my favorite shows. I also end up reading the book The Selection. I've read it before, but didn't get a chance to finish it.

The next day at school it's very hard to move around. I'm trying to get used to the crutches. It's kind of hard, but I'm getting through it. I'm really mad at Flynn for breaking my ankle. I don't get why he keeps hurting me.

"Do you need help? I'll be happy to carry your backpack." Jack asks. We are walking to our Communications class. It has been a bit of a rough day. I've been getting through it though. "It's fine. I got it." I say. I'm getting pretty sore actually. "Actually, can you carry my backpack?" I ask. Jack agrees and takes my backpack from me. I automatically get relief. My back isn't as sore anymore.

This just really sucks. I hate having a broken ankle. This is just horrible. Why does Flynn keep hurting and bullying me?
