Love in Her Eyes, Hurt in Her Life

Chapter 13

The next day some of us decide to play gagaball. It's not one of my favorite games, but my friends are playing, so why not. Jack, Kristoff, Hiccup, Merida, Astrid, Tadashi, Mr. James Sullivan, Mrs. Nala King , and I are playing. Playing this game in jeans isn't the easiest thing, but I manage.

Yes, it's winter, but it's not that cold. It's about 72 degrees outside. I'm wearing skinny jeans, and my short sleeve, Disney Academy shirt. It's light blue with white lettering. I'm also wearing my dark purple, dark blue, and light orange Asics tennis shoes.

After gagaball I see Merida standing by the basketball courts watching Tadashi, Wasabi, Fred, Jack, Kristoff, and Flynn play three-on-three basketball. Merida has had a crush on Tadashi since sophomore year. Tadashi has a twin sister named Honey Lemon who is sitting on the grass by the courts. Tadashi and Honey Lemon are really close. Merida isn't that open regarding her feelings towards a guy, but when it comes to Tadashi she's head over heels for him.

"Talk to him." I say walking up to Merida. She just looks at me. "What? No. I can't. He's with his friends. His gang." Merida says trying to figure out the words to say. I can tell that she really likes him. Her eyes light up when she looks at him.

"You should at least talk to him. It's not like he's going to hurt you. You see how he treats Honey Lemon and GoGo." I say trying to convince Merida to talk to him. "I will talk to him...at some point." She says softly "I'll talk to him at dinner tonight." I give her a thumbs up and a smile.

Right after dinner I go to my cabin to grab my Disney Academy hooded pullover sweatshirt. My sweatshirt is the same design as my t-shirt. It tends to get colder at night out here in the wilderness. When I get to the cabin I see that Merida is in the cabin laying on her bed.

"Hey, so did you talk to Tadashi?" I ask going through my suitcase. Merida just groans. "That well, huh." I question. "I was an idiot." Merida exclaims. "What happened?" I ask looking at her. "I went up to him and he had his bowl of chili." She starts. Oh gosh. This will probably not end well. "We started talking and then I turn to look at him and I hit his chili bowl. The chili goes all over him." She explains. "He kept saying that it was okay, but it really wasn't." I go over to Merida and try to comfort her.

After I comfort Merida from dinner, we head back out to the camp fire. It's gotten pretty dark out. It's about 8:46 pm and we are doing s'mores. Again, after s'mores Kristoff and the other two guys get their guitars and start playing Glad You Came.

Rapunzel: The sun goes down. The stars come out. And all that counts. Is here and now. My universe will never be the same. I'm glad you came.

Anna: You cast a spell on me, spell on me. You hit me like the sky fell on me, fell on me. And I decided you look well on me, well on me. So let's go somewhere no one else can see you and me.

Elsa: Turn the lights out now. Now I'll take you by the hand. Hand you another drink. Drink it if you can. Can you spend a little time. Time is slipping away. Away from us so stay. Stay with me I can make. Make you glad you came.

Rapunzel: The sun goes down. The stars come out. And all that counts. Is here and now. My universe will never be the same. I'm glad you came. I'm glad you came.

We continue the song and we have a lot of fun with it. I did most of the singing in this song. People started clapping and cheering. I even saw Flynn clapping and cheering. I saw that Tadashi moved next to Merida in the middle of the song. They spoke for a little bit and then she squealed.

Elsa, Anna, Merida, Astrid, and I head to our cabin at 9:37 pm. "Okay, what did you squeal at during the song?" I ask excitedly once we close the cabin door. "Well...Tadashi asked me out!" Merida says excitedly while jumping up and down. We all squeal and start jumping up and down. About ten seconds later Jack, Hiccup, and Kristoff come running into our cabin. Their cabin is right next to ours.

"What happened? We heard screams." Jack asks concerned. The girls and I just look at them and then to Merida. "Well...Tadashi asked me out!" Merida says excitedly to the guys. "Yay! Congrats!" The guys say in unison. We all are really excited for Merida right now.

After several minutes the guys head back to their cabin. They are sharing a cabin with Flynn and Aladdin. Aladdin is a really nice guy. Guys aren't supposed to be in the girls cabins and girls aren't supposed to be in guys cabins. At around 10:00 pm we lock the cabin door, turn off the lights, and go to sleep.

Hey y'all! So yay, Merida is going out with Tadashi! I know it might be weird that Honey Lemon is Tadashi's twin, but I really wanted Merida and Tadashi to date, but wanted all of the Big Hero Six gang in the book. Tell me what y'all think.
