Song: Kill Me- The Pretty Reckless

Heaving myself everywhere was becoming harder and harder as this pregnancy wore on. It was even harder when Ben complained every six seconds about my complaining. Who's the one carrying around another person here? Last time I checked it fucking well wasn't him. Right now is the time I wished he'd have a tour so I didn't have to hear him bitch and moan about my bitching and moaning. He went on tour in May and came back in July so we can spend the last month of pregnancy together. Apparently, according to Sumerian, they won't be touring again until a couple months after Monique gives birth and she's not due until December 1st. This means that a lot of time for Ben to be home and a lot of time for baby. I was pretty happy that Ben's family arrived last week as they take over tasks that are too hard for me to do now with a stomach that blocks me from seeing my feet or anything 15cm in front of them. Pregnancy is seriously incapacitating, let me tell you. I can't walk properly. I waddle like a handicapped duck and I can't wear pants most of the time because I don't really have a figure anymore. I am getting no sleep and if I do, it's a couple of hours at a time. I'm so uncomfortable and hot (eight months pregnant in August is like the deepest pit of hell). Sarah, Bex, Ben and Dicky have been working really hard to make me as comfortable as possible but nothing is working. Sarah is being very understanding seeing as she's the only other person in the house to experience this. Monique has now hit five months and is in the honeymoon stage before the uncomfortableness and the swollen ankles and the waddling. All she gets to do is sleep comfortably and feel the baby move lightly. When this kid kicks it's like it's trying to tear itself out of my uterus through my bellybutton. Yeah, at first it was all sweet and cute but now it's like he's doing it on purpose to keep me awake; practising for when he's in the real world.

According to Sarah, our son had gotten his legs from his father; all that stomping he does on stage. Sarah and I sit in the pool together most days to try and keep cool while Bex cooks and Dicky and Ben have stern talks or work on the nursery. Ben seems to be handling the impending fatherhood pretty well. He's always touching my belly and speaks to him when we're alone. He has single-handedly designed the nursery but has gotten help from Dicky and the AA boys in putting his plans into action. The nursery is sky blue with charcoal grey sheets and curtains. The crib, change table, rocking chair and cabinets are charcoal as well. The crib is filled with all the different plush toys Ben could possibly have gotten his hands on. On the wall above the crib is a photo taken of Ben holding my stomach from behind and we're both smiling. Jamie took that at our one year anniversary party in June. It's amazing to think how far we've come in a short year and two months. We met in June last year in a club when my belly piercing got caught on his shirt. In this short time span, we've managed to: fall madly in love, move in together with puppies, go through a difficult break-up, make up and become stronger than ever and now have a baby. I can't believe I have found my soulmate so quickly in my life and everything is falling into place before I turn 24. I love my life and the people in it, no matter how much I complain about pregnancy.

Oh yeah, Brandi and James got together! About two months ago, James confessed how much he liked Brandi. I convinced him to ask her out. Turns out, Brandi had been crushing on James since she met him. They're so happy together now.

I was pulled from the black, the sleep I had managed to conjure was slipping away. My eyes started to flicker drowsily as I woke to Ben hovering above me, kissing my nose and lips to stir me. When he realised my eyes were open, he nuzzled his nose to mine and smiled.

"Morning baby." He whispered.

"Morning." I whispered back.

"I thought I'd wake you before I go. Mum and Dicky are making me go pick up some stuff for the baby shower." He was dressed and ready, my eyes suddenly observed.
