Do you hear the birds calling?
They speak of a song that was meant for the lonely hearts
For the messiest of minds
And for the tears that fall from pitiful faces

Do you see the plants growing?
Slowly, and softly
They break through their young shells of naivety
They grow into strong stems of evergreen

Do you fear the waves crashing?
They drown out the sorrows
And replace them with anger
And ease their minds with rushing waters

Do you yearn to look beyond the world that you see?
The flowers that grow
The tress that shade
The waters that hide
The souls that sing

Do you wish for a better tomorrow?
Of fulfilled dreams
Of happy faces
Of quiet minds
Of closing eyes without trouble?

Love, everything is a theory between today and tomorrow
We live for the spaces in between.
