Talk less, listen more
They say
But how can she tell them
She listens every day

She listens in the night
Till dawn
Till sleep has left her
And she forgets to yawn

She loses her mind telling them to stop
The voices they laugh at her
She can't help but welcome them
She knows she's fighting a war

Talk less, listen more
They say
She's listening
And it's getting in her way

Her life has turned empty
A glass shard of time
Nobody pays attention
Nobody drops a dime

She's not herself anymore
She's in a haze
Her eyes, they're windows
To her black and white maze

She wants to escape imprisonment
She wishes she was saved
Talk less, listen more
They only waved
