tyler walked down his stairs groggily and opened the front door to reveal josh.

"oh, hi," tyler greeted. "right, we're hanging out tonight," tyler realized, stepping to the side to let josh in. tyler closed the door and led josh up to his room and sat down on his bed.

"so," josh awkwardly spoke.

"what do you wanna do," tyler asked, looking down at his hands in his lap. josh shrugged at this and let out a sigh.

"tyler, can you please tell me what's wrong," josh asked desperately, the sudden change in mood surprising tyler.

"it's sorta personal and kinda super illegal," tyler ran his hand through his hair nervously.

"i've done plenty of illegal things, try me," josh urged, trying to get tyler to open up.

"well i guess i can tell you," tyler began, debating whether or not to tell josh about everything thats happened in the past couple weeks and how its all built up. "should i start with jenna or my dad?"

tyler and josh talked for four hours straight. tyler explained the whole jenna thing and josh explained the ashley thing. josh was just dating ashley to try and get over tyler but clearly that didn't work. then tyler talked about how his dad went missing but avoided the whole thing about his dad actually being dead. this led into the topic of parents in general and josh talked about how ever since his parents got a divorce, he's been on his own. when his mom left them for another girl, he just lived with his dad who was always working and so josh sort of raised himself.

somehow the two had gotten into a conversation about social issues and beauty standards which both felt very strongly about. they discussed how it was messed up that social media pressures people to look a certain way. tyler specifically felt like he should be able to wear makeup and skirts without his sexuality or gender being questioned and josh felt the same way.

"i mean, i'd never want to wear a dress personally but i want to have that option and feel safe doing it," josh stated. tyler nodded before he got an idea.

"have you ever tried on a dress," tyler asked the blue haired boy with a smirk.

"no," josh replied, confused as tyler opened his closet and pulled out a few hangers from the back.

"that's gonna have to change," tyler stated.

"yeah, no, i would never be able to pull that off," josh declined.

"come on," tyler pleaded, pouting.

"no, i don't have the hips for it," josh replied.

"ugh, fine, but you have to let me put some makeup on you," tyler stated, setting the dresses down in disappointment.

"okay," josh groaned. tyler smiled in excitement as he pulled out his makeup.

"okay come here," tyler urged giddily, sitting on the ground. josh rolled his eyes before sitting in front of the boy.

"so, i'll start with a simple primer to get your face ready for all the makeup i'm about to cake on your face," tyler explained, putting goop on his hands and then spreading it all over josh's face.
