Yato God of War

Chapter two

We arrive at Yato's friends house. I forgot her name. It's winter and this robe I am wearing is just not working.
"Yato, do you think I will be able to get some proper clothes anytime soon?" I ask him. He looks at me thinking then looks at yukine.
"Uh maybe hyori will have some extra clothes?" Yato says.
Wait who is hyori?
" so uh this hyori girl is this the friend that is feeding us?" I say
" yes but don't worry she is very sweet and very caring." Yukine said reassuring me.
"She let me stay at her place for a bit, while this bum crashed at other gods shrines." Yukine say. Yato just ignores him. I could tell that hurt his feelings.
"Well I think shrines are overrated anyway" I say laughing, hoping to lift the spirits a little. Yato turns his head and and gives me a little smile. Well I tried. I sigh and continue walking.
We finally arrive at hyori's house.
Yato knocks on the door.
A young girl about my age with long brown hair opens the door.
"Oh hi Yato!" She hugs him and then greets yukine and hugs him. She then looks at me with confusion. I hide behind Yato.
"Hyori, I want you to meet my new regalia, akiko" Yato steps aside to reveal me.
"Hi Akiko, it's a pleasure to meet you." She looks at me with kindness. Then realizes that I am only wearing a robe.
"Oh my gosh I think someone needs a makeover " She says giggling.
Yato and yukine run for the food and start inhaling everything in sight. Hyori shows me to her room and helps me pick out clothes. She hands me a pink oversized sweater and leggings. She also hands me combat boots. She gives me a brush. I start to put my hair in a cute messy bun.
"Thank you so much for the clothes" I say.
" no problem akiko, girls have to look out for each other, it's just what we do"
She tries to put makeup on me but i just don't feel comfortable with that. We head downstairs and eat what is left of dinner. Wow I was starving.
" I can't remember the last time I had a meal." I say
"Really?" Hyori says with wonder.
" yeah I don't really remember much from my previous life, but I do remember one thing." Yato and yukine join our conversation.
"What's that?" Yukine asks.
"Well i remember that I was taken away from my family and killed by a bad man." I say with anger and sadness. Hyori looks at me, I could tell she was feeling sorry for me. Yato looks away and stays silent.
"Oh" yukine says.
Well I just made this awkward. Um?
"Anyway I'm just happy that I got this second chance." I smile at Yato. Yato smiles back.
"Well who is up for desert!" Hyori says happily.
"ME ME ME!" Yato jumps up and down with joy. Yukine and I laugh.
