C H A P T E R 5 - Out and About

I feel the sunlight that's pouring through the window, shine on my face. Opening my eyes I see that I'm in a room. That's when my mind quickly remembers all the events that took place yesterday. Knowing that I was finally free from Orochimaru, I just feel so happy. I can do whatever I want whenever I want. In all honesty I just can't wait to start living life again.

Deciding to get up, I try to lift myself. When I realize I can't because Naruto's arms are caging me beside him. I was trapped, next thing I know he starts spooning me. My face begins to heat up. While I'm struggling, Naruto keeps rubbing his face against mine.

"Mmm...so warm" he mumbles sleepily.

Finally breaking free, I give out a small shriek as I fall off the bed with a loud thud.

"Ugh" I say while getting up.

"Mmm, (Name) what are you doing?" he asks, oblivious to what just happened.

"Oh, nothing"

"You should be more careful, do you always fall out of bed like that?" he tells me.

I sweat drop while twitching my eyebrow, knowing he's the reason I fell. Naruto decides to get up, he goes in the bathroom. Wanting to eat before we went any where, I get to the kitchen and make some toast.

That's when I hear the shower running.

'Huh, Naruto must be in there.'

Slightly smiling to myself, I shake my head to rid myself of that thought. I shouldn't be thinking about that, but I guess it's only natural. I am a girl after all. Naruto comes out wearing his usual getup. He looks at me seeing that I have a piece of toast hanging out my mouth.

"If your ready I was thinking I should show you around the Leaf village" Naruto said.

"Yeah sure, we can leave now I'm ready."

"Your gonna go out wearing those?" he aksed

I look at the clothes I'm wearing (the ones from Naruto's drawer) and then look at him.

"Uh yeah, I can't wear my old ripped ones. Why, do you mind?" I say.

"No it's fine, I just didn't know if you were okay with wearing my clothes"

"No I don't mind besides these are comfortable, and they don't look bad on me."

"Alright then let's go" said Naruto.

Heading out the door, Naruto and I walk around the village. He shows me around and I see the academy, training grounds, the carves faces of the previous hokage, the leaf village hospital, and some other places. Going down a path I see some people in the distace heading in our direction. Naruto smiles and waves putting his hand in the air. I guess he knows them.

Soon enough we stood face to face between three people. The first, a girl with brown hair styled into two buns. She has brown eyes. Second, a boy with long brown hair styled in a loose ponytail at the bottom. His eyes are a light lavender. Third, another boy with shinny black hair, styled in a bowl shaped hair cut. I can't help but notice how thick his eyebrows are.

"Hey Naruto!" started the boy with bushy eyebrows. "who is this, is she your girlfriend?" he said pointing at me.

'Why does everyone think I'm his girlfriend?'

"This is (Name) and no she's not my girlfriend" Naruto says with a slight blush.

"Uh, (Name) this is Tenten, Neji, and Lee" he tells me.

"Hi!" (the girl) Tenten tells me.

"Hello" Neji says calmly.

"Hi there!" says Lee or bushy brows.

"Hey, it's nice to meet all of you" I say.

Just then Sakura shows up.

"(Name), Naruto? What are you guys doing out here?" she asks

"I was just showing (Name) around when we ran into Tenten, Lee, and Neji" Naruto explains.

"(Name) what are you wearing?" asked Sakura.

"Well I didn't have any other clothes, so Naruro let me use his"

"We need to get you some new clothes, come on I'm taking you shopping. Tenten do you want to come with us? Says Sakura.

"Oh, sure" replied Tenten

Sakura and Tenten grabed both of my wrists as they drag me away. I quickly say goodbye to Naruto, Neji and Lee before leaving.

Entering a store we begin to look around. Tenten comes up to me.

"How about this?" she says lifting an outfit.

"No"

"What about this one?" Sakura says.

"Mmm...no" I say shaking my head.

Still looking around I don't find anything. That is untill I see a piece of (color) clothing that stands out.

"Hey, what do you guys think?" I say lifting up the outfit. Tenten smiles and tells me I should try it on. Sakura nodds in agreement. Taking the clothes, I go into the changing rooms and put it on. To my surprise it looks really good on me. Coming out of the room, Sakura and Tenten stare at eachother and than smile at me before saying "It looks great!!!"
