The sun finally set as we gaze into eachothers eyes. At long last, I was able to tell Naruto how I feel towards him. Only to find out he feels the same way. I can't be anymore ecstatic. Naruto, the person I've liked for so long has feelings for me. Whenever I'm around Naruto its as if nothing can hurt me. Nothing can get to me because he's always there. Kinda reminds me of the time he found me in Orochimaru's hide out. That's a day I'll never forget. Not only because I got to leave the hide out, but because it was the first time I saw Naruto.
By now the atmosphere above us had turned dark. The stars began to peak through the clouds, while the skyline had a small highlight of pink. Everything is perfect now, I have all that I've ever wanted. Lying back and staring up at the sky, I pull Naruto down with me. With my hand in his we both admire the night sky. I aways find it to be so enchanting.
Seeing all those little stars sparkling above us makes me feel so mini. Like this world, or solar system, or even the universe, its all humongous. While I'm just this one person on this one planet, filled with others just like myself. Being like this makes me wonder about how others think. I mean, does my mind process differently then most people? Take Naruto for example, he's an absolute knucklehead. Yet he doesn't care what others have to say about him
'He's kind and-
"Hey what are you thinking about (Name)?" Naruto asks while interrupting my thoughts.
"About a certain someone" I say teasingly.
"Who? Are you talking about Kiba?"
"NO! Why would I be thinking about Kiba?" I ask.
"I don't know. I thought you liked him. Whenever he's around you'd always smile and laugh" he tells me.
"Naruto, Kiba is nice but I don't like him like that. I like you, that's why the certain someone I was thinking about is you. Naruto U-zu-ma-ki" I say stretching the syllables of his last name.
"Oh you could've just said that (Name)."
"You can be so dense sometimes, you know?"
"What's that suppost to mean?" he questions
I tell him "Nothing, it means I like you because your you."
Smiling up at him as he grins at me. Naruto stands up and offers me his hand. Helping me up I get on my feet.
"Let's go its already late" Naruto says while holding my hand.
With the both of us walking in through the village, we make our way back at a steady pace. It's so quiet, almost as if I can feel the stillness in the air. The wind picked up, and I had to brush a piece of my (h/c) out of my face. We make it to my place and Naruto wishes me goodnight.
"Goodnight Naruto, and becareful going back home."
"Sure" he replies
Before walking away I hug him and decide to give him a small kiss...on his cheek. It was only a first date so he doesn't get to taste my lips yet. Besides if I did that, I think Naruto would've fainted. We finally parted, I step into my apartment and watch Naruto's retreating form through my window. As he slowly disappears in the darkness from the shadows that cover him in the streets.
