(Name) P.O.V
I'm covered in black shadows with nowhere to go. My surroundings remain dim and gloomy. Will I always be in the dark? Meant to spend the rest of my life alone? At this point it surely feels that way. My soul is forever traped in the cruel clutches of fate. I fear there's no hope for me.
That is until I see a speck of light appear in the distance. I stare at it mezmorized. For some reason I can't seem to look away. The light quickly outshines my dark surroundings. Walking towards it I begin to feel warm. Almost as if it was calling me. Telling me to come closer.
Every time I take a step closer to the light, it gets bigger. With one more step, the light engulfs me in its brightness. I can no longer see, and I feel nothing. Except a string of my consciousness that comes back to me. The rest of my conscious soon follows after, and my senses open up.
I smell the scent of fresh flowers. I feel myself lying on something soft. Slowly opening my eyes, I try to figure out where I am. As my vision clears up I see I'm in a hospital room. It feels as if this is the first time I've waken up in a while. Turning my head to the right I see a stand next to my bed. On top there's a vase with tons of flowers inside. Turning to the left I surprisingly see Naruto!
He's asleep, his head rests on the bed I'm in, while the rest of his body sits in a chair that was placed next to me. Quietly sitting up, I notice a window in the room is open. A small breeze flows in slightly moving my hair. I take in a deep breath of the cool air that soon fills my lungs.
Turning back to face Naruto, I lift my hand and stroke his cheek gently. Out of all the times I've seen Naruto sleep, I think this is the most peaceful he's ever been. Still touching his soft cheek Naruto begins to stir in his sleep. As his eye lids open, I'm surprised at how easily he wakes up. Knowing Naruto is usually a deep sleeper.
Letting out a yawn, Naruto rubs his eyes while sitting up. He stares at me blankly for a few seconds, before realizing that I had waken up.
"(N-name) your up! I can't believe your actually awake!!!" he says while hugging me tightly.
"Uh yeah, you seem so surprised. Was I asleep for that long?" I question him
As he let's me out of the hug, Naruto's happy expression soon changes.
"(Name) you weren't sleeping...you've been in a coma for about a month."
"WHAT?!"
I try to think back at what last happened to me. Sifting through my memories I soon remember everything. Being kidnapped, escaping and then passing out. Naruto was the last thing I saw.
"Wait, what happened to-"
"They've been taken care of." Naruto says while interrupting me. "Tsunade sent out a different team to bring them back, so they could be interrogated." Naruto tells me
"Oh, so they found all three of them?" I ask
"Yeah, they got Sato and Rui quickly. The third guy was caught trying to leave the hideout."
"That's good, but I can't believe I was out for a month." I say still shocked
"True, but your awake know and that's all that matters."
"I remember passing out, but how did I fall into a coma?"
"Well, I'll let Sakura explain that." he says smiling while rubbing the back of his neck. "Anyways, you must be hungry, I'll go get you something to eat." Naruto says still smiling
He quickly kisses my forehead and leaves the room. I sit there for a moment, before taking a flower out of the vase that's next to me. I recognize the flower as an orchid. They've always been one of my favorite. While admiring the plant, Sakura walks in.
"(Name), so you are awake. I'm glad." she says
"Yeah, so what exactly happened to me? How did I end up in a coma?" I ask
I sit there and listen to everything Sakura tells me. I'm shocked to hear that I came that close to death. Knowing Tsunade actually had to step in to save me. That shows just how serious it was.
"You know (Name), when you passed out Naruto was so scared. He completely froze up, I've never seen him like that before. While you were in a coma, Naruto came to see you everyday. He'd stay until visiting hours were over." Sakura tells me
"Wow"
My eyes widen slightly. Though I shouldn't be surprised, that sounds exactly like Naruto. I softly smile to myself. While looking down at the orchid I was still holding.
'Naruto, I can't believe he was that worried about me. I love him.'
