Chapter-four.
Steve woke up on the laminate floor, his neck in agony. He stood to his feet and looked out the window to see the snow was even thicker than the day before and that it was thicker again. He walked into the kitchen making himself toast. He yawned while standing next to the toaster. He then took his toast out and buttered it. He walked back into the living room to see Skye sobbing and Rosy with an arm around her.
"He's not coming back, he just left!" Skye cried.
"He might have went somewhere, maybe his parents called for him, they do stay in Scotland" Rosy said trying to cheer her up.
"He was drinking he wouldn't drive, he's just left, what if he doesn't know where he is!" Skye said.
By this time Steve knew who they were talking about.
"I'll take you out later to look for him" Steve said.
"Ok al get changed" Skye said wiping her eyes.
May had not long woke up and they explained what happened. Rosy walked into the kitchen to get some water. When she walked in, she noticed another note on the fridge.
Sorry Skye, I had to go to my parents house, they're having a problem. I will see you when the holidays over, I'm so sorry but enjoy yourself.
Love you xxxx

"It's a setup" Rosy said holding both notes up.
"What do you mean" Skye said still sobbing.
"Same handwriting, pretty much same notes, someone's up to this if not they are." Rosy said slamming both notes on the table.
"Okay anyway me and Skye are going to look for this muppet" Steve said standing up.
"Are you both sure, these roads are dangerous, they're thick with snow" May said.
"Yeah of course he could be freezing to death right now!" Skye screamed.
Steve and Skye both walked out into the car, May and Rosy watched as the slowly drove away.
"I have a feeling they're gone!" Rosy said.
"What do you mean gone, they can't just vanish?" May exclaimed.
As they spoke a boulder was flung through the living room window.
They both screamed. It had a letter attached to the boulder.
