Keep in mind, this is a cross over with my good friend, AtsukoChu ! Shes a wonderful writer and make sure to check out her series, along with Keystone's perspective! Bop! Have a lovely day :3

Astrid was so tired from running... The adrenaline finally wore out. She stopped for a minute, dried blood on her neck, face, and hands. This is a lovely predicament. She muses to herself in her head.

After a few minutes, she starts walking. Her feet were becoming leaden and sore, she was becoming weak. Her footsteps were heavy thuds on the ground and it would be easy to sense her.

She heard a rustle in the bushes and then she was pinned to a tree, a dagger at her throat. Her enemy looked at her face, covered in blood and snarled.

Astrid didn't take kindly to this and snarled back. She didn't care. She could go full wolf on this girl if she wanted. Who was she in her right mind to think she could take her?

"And what do you think you're doing?" Astrid purred, tilting her head to the side, letting the dagger blade slice into her skin. Blood slid down her neck and along the dagger. It was quite pretty, actually.

The girl seemed to be slightly shocked at her movement, only to replace it with an expressionless face. Too slow. Astrid smirked slightly.

"Running." The girl said back, digging her dagger deeper into Astrid's neck.

Such a shame, Astrid didn't take kindly to that. She had some power of her own.

All thoughts aside, the adrenaline pumping in her veins again, screaming to be released. She obeyed with movements like an adder.

She brought up her knee and kneed the girl in the stomach, twisting away from the dagger all at the same time. She delivered a punch to her face, leaping into a tree the next moment.

The girl below her snarled and- wait, were those fangs? Oh those were fangs.

Astrid smiled lightly as she slowly processed what she was facing. "Come on Wolfy, don't you want a fight?" She coos from up the tree.

The girl leaped into the air and her nails extended into claws, grabbing tree bark and hauling herself up quickly. "That was a mistake." She hissed at Astrid.

"Everything I do is a mistake." Astrid purrs as the girl punched her right in the jaw.

A loud crack could be heard, but she'd dealt with worse pain. She smiled and cracked her neck, oh this was fun.

The girl tackled Astrid out of the tree, causing her to land atop her. Her knee was digging into her ribcage as she landed with an umph.

Astrid had had enough playing. Well, for now at least. She grabbed the girls wrists and flung her off of her, effectively flipping her and making her land on her face.

Astrid smiled slightly. She walked over and kicked the girl in the ribs, causing her to roll over in pain. "I think I've had enough of letting you get away with causing me pain, don't you think?" She hummed.

"You're an interesting fighter..." The girl murmured. And grabbed Astrid's ankle, flipping her to the ground.

Astrid nods as the girl leapt atop her, pinning her to the ground with ease. "Same to you." She smiled and the girl gave her a responding one.

    "Keystone," she introduced herself.

"Astrid," Astrid said back with a smile. The girl returned it before rolling off her and standing up, offering a hand to help Astrid up.

Astrid took it, and stood herself. "You put up a good fight. I'm impressed, Keystone." She nodded at her and swiped blood away from the corner of her mouth.

"Most don't get many hit on me- oh, and sorry about your shoulder." She gestured to Astrid's shoulder, which was shredded. Blood leaked from it, oozing out continuously. The skin was peeled up a bit, it wasn't the prettiest flower in the field.

"Eh, I've had worse." Astrid shrugged in response, but she was still smiling.

"What brought you to these woods?" Keystone asked her.

"Well, I kind of got out of my adopted mother's camp with all of her Hunter's after a psycho nurse tried to kill me. I stabbed her in the heart and ran. I'm still a little weak from the poison she put in my IV." Astrid responds cooly, not really bothered by it.

Something flashed across Keystone's expression, but Astrid wasn't one to pry. It was obvious this girl was good at hiding her emotions, but there was something in her eyes... Rage. Astrid recognized it almost instantly. She knew something was causing a turmoil in this girls head.

"So you're a werewolf, huh?" Astrid decided to change the subject, before things got... Feisty again.

    "Yup." Keystone replied curtly.

"Well, I guess I'm kind of a wolf..." Astrid shrugged her shoulders, chuckling slightly.

Keystone seemed to sniff the air, her brows knitting into confusion. "Your scent is not entirely human... Something powerful mixed in... But you have a scent of wolf, as well as many other animals." Keystone noted.

Astrid was slightly in awe at her noting, but she nodded her head. "I'm a Shape Shifter. Also a Demi-God. My adoptive mother is Artemis. And no, I'm not a lunatic." She shrugs again. She seemed to do that a lot.

Keystone nodded in her understanding. "Interesting," she murmured to herself. She took in Astrid's weapons and seemed to approve of them. "Nice."

"Spirit," she gestured to her father's sword, "And Flame." She smiled lightly and took in Keystone's weapons as well. She approved. "You and I are probably going to be good acquaintances."

Keystone smiles. "That sounds like a good plan."

AND I'M DONE. Remember when I used to update every day or every other day? Oh the good old days. Lol. Hope you guys are enjoying your summer vacation, I SURE AS HECK AM LOVING MY FREEDOM!
