Chapter 10 : Brown eyes

It was a long day. But i had a lot of fun. Humiga ako sa kama at napatitig sa kisame. Napangiti na lang ako bigla.

"OMG, what's wrong with you Satomi? Shocks! Why im feeling this way? Am I ready to love again? Those brown eyes! Grabe. Natutunaw ako sa tuwing nakikita ko ang mata niya nakitingin sakin! Oh no no no no!"

Tumayo ako at hinubad ang mga damit ko. Ganito talaga ako matulog. Panty lang.

Kinuha ko ang comforter at binalot ang katawan ko at humiga ulit sa kama. Tumunog ang phone ko.
Napatalon ang puso ko at napangiti sa kilig ng makita ko na may text si Kyle.

"Hey Pretty, have a good rest. Goodnight. You're awesome tonight. See you sa school. 😘"

Hindi ko na maikakaila na i had a little crush on Kyle when i first saw him sa school. Matangkad, Matipuno, Gwapo he looks clean and gentleman. Pogi points niya na rin na pareho kami ng mga gustong kotse.

But am i really ready to fall in love again? I dont want to feel lost in love anymore. I dont want to see myself miserable again.

Nireply ko siya. "Thankyou sa paghatid. Text me when you got home. 😘 Thanks again for tonight i enjoyed it."

Tenext ko rin si Margaret para icheck kung asan na siya. Ilang minuto lang tumawag si Margaret.

"Satomi, im home now. Dont worry na. Shocks, im so kilig. Tristan kiss me on the forehead. He's so gentleman." Kinikilig niyang sabi sa kabilang linya. Margaret calls me in my third name sometimes.

"kilig na kilig kana niyan. So anong score? Sasagutin mo ba agad?" Tumatawa ko namang sagot sa kanya.

"Maybe." Halakhak niya. Sabay tili.

"Go for it. Andito lang ako sa tabi mo." "Wait, bago ka mamatay sa kilig. Kyle asked if pwede daw ba nya akong ligawan."

"Really? Halata naman kay Kyle that he likes you eh. Mabait naman si Kyle. I dont see him being a playboy before. He's just always with Tristan. But i have to wanr you about his malditang ex Girlfriend." Margaret said.

"You think i should give him a chance? I dont want to get hurt anymore. I told you about my past lovelife."

"You know Satomi, give him one more chance. Hindi naman lahat ng lalaki parepareho. And in love you have to take a risk. Malay mo Kyle is worth the risk and maybe he's the one that can heal that heartache. And the man that you can be forever with." Margaret added.

"Hmmmm, okay. Thankyou for the advice. Bestfriend na talaga kita. iloveyou! Anyway, i had a crush on him naman talaga." Tumatawa kong sagot sa kanya.

"Landi mo rin." Tawa niya. "Go for it, love wins! Oh siya, goodnight bestfriend. loveyoumore." At nagpaalam na rin siya at binaba ang telepono.

May text ulit from Kyle.

"Im home now Kylie 😍😘 nakatulog kana siguro. Goodnight pretty. Kahit di kapa sumasagot kung pwede na kitang ligawan i just want to tell you that Im falling for you hard, and i think cant sleep without saying this ILOVEYOU❤️!"

Kumalabog ang puso ko sa kilig. Di ko alam kung ano ang irereply ko. Nagtatype pa lang sana ako ng reply pero biglang tumawag si Kyle. Muntik ko ng mabitawan ang phone ko sa gulat. Sinagot ko siya.

"Hello."

"Sorry, did i disturb you? Nakatulog kana ba?." Tanong niya.

"Ahm, hindi pa naman. Kakatawag lang kasi ni Margaret. And im just about to reply you."

"Oh okay. So you got my message pala." Kyle said

"Ahm yap. You know kasi naheartbroken ako from my past love. At napabayaan ko yung sarili ko. Medyo mahabang kwento and im afraid to fall in love again. But thanks to my bestfriend Margaret, i realized something and my answer to you is YES. You can court me. Let's see where it ends." Sagot ko sa kanya.

"Really? YES YES YES. Thankyou Kylie. Dont worry. I will never break your heart. Never ever! iloveyou. Papatunayan ko yan sayo." Halatang tuwang tuwa siya sa naging sagot ko.

"Okay. Rest kana. ill see you sa school. Goodnight."
