I had been in that room for so long I was sick of it. It had been at least 5 days since I first met my kidnapper. Guards brought me food and water. It was like a prison. But I wasn't lonely. Strangely the blonde guard from before would talk to me for hours. I found out his name was Cole. Even though I knew he was my guard and I his prisoner I was kinda starting to like him. He had been nothing but nice to me.The first time he had come in with the food I had thrown it at him, the plate hit him directly in the head. When it did he was by my side in a second. He grabbed me around the waist and brought me to him. I thought he was going to hurt me so I struggled and tried to get away.

He didn't hurt me. He pulled me against him into a hug and whispered in my ear.

"I know your scared. I promise nothing is going to hurt you. You don't need to fight me."

He had sounded sincere and even though I didn't hug him back, I didn't try to push him away either. Since then he had brought me my food every night. The unpleasant man with the dark hair brought it in the morning. Cole sat with me while I ate then we would continue talking for hours after. When I asked why he didn't bring me my food in the mornings as well he said that he was just the night guard. Even though nothing had tried to harm me and nothing had been done against me I knew this was still my prison. So when night came and Cole entered I had to ask him. I took the food off him and placed it on the side. I then sat on the huge bed and looked at him.

"Why am I here?" I asked it quietly.

"I really cant tell you." He always looked like he felt so bad if I ever brought anything like this up.

"Does your boss need to know you have told me?"

"If I told you he would kill me." I snorted thinking he was joking .

"Isn't that over exaggerating a little bit."

"Nope not at all." Shaking his head his eyes never left mine, showing he wasn't lying to me. Maybe they were just as much a prisoner as me.

"Are you telling me that if you said anything he would kill you?"

"Yes" he looked at the floor with his strange eyes filled with tears. Feeling bad I got up off the bed and went over to him. I placed a finger under his chin and brought his eyes to mine.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. If you don't mind me asking... why do you work for him?" He took my hand off his chin and laced his fingers through mine.

"I have no choice. Its either do as he asks or die. I choose to live." His eyes didn't leave mine this time the entire time he was talking.

"I'm sorry."I looked at the floor. The constant eye contact was to much. I didn't think it was fair for someone this nice to be put through something that bad.

"Hey," He chuckled, "I don't know why your sorry, if it wasn't for the fact I had been commanded to watch you I would never of met you." When he said it his entire face came over with a light blush. It was cute and it made me smile for the first time I had gotten here. "Your smile is beautiful."

This time I blushed. "Thank you." I don't know why but my eyes filled with tears.

"Don't cry. Please don't."

"Sorry I'm not. Its just...I don't actually know. I'm fine honest I wont cry." I managed to blink away my tears before they escaped my eyes.

"Good. I want you to be happy." It was weird that it was my guard saying this to me, but after all the time we had spent together, I also wasn't surprised. I also had to be honest.

"I cant be when I'm a prisoner."

"You're not," his tone hard.

"Yes I am. I'm stuck in this room. In a place that I don't even know. I just want to go home."
