In episode 5, there is an option to look in a book shelf. Jesse will then read the title of a book that says 'Habits of the Enderman' written by Soren. This was quite random, but then something else was found in episode 6. There is another option to search a bookshelf, and Jesse will then find another book also written by Soren.
If it weren't for the second discovery in episode 6, then the first book in episode 5 could have gone unnoticed. But the fact that both of these books contain information and notes about Endermen is rather strange. As we said before, perhaps Soren came from one of these dimensions. But even if he did, there is no reason for his writings to still be there after so many years.
Well, what if the New Order of the Stone (+1) is following in Soren's footsteps? We look to the following evidence to suggest this theory:
(spoilers for episode 6 ahead, read at your own risk)
1: His books
Obviously, we used this above as a hook. But it is a rather interesting concept to think about.
Between episode 4 and episode 5, there is a rather large time space, at least a month. Enough time for Soren to scavenge through his fortress, find an enchanted flint & steel and be on his way to the portal corridor. Perhaps he stayed in Sky City for a few weeks before Jesse and his/her friends arrived. Perhaps he knew of their presence and fled once they were approaching him. Whatever the case, you have to admit that he was there at one point. Of course, this does clash with the 'Soren from Sky City' theory, but it has to be mentioned. Why else would one of his personal journals (about Endermen, mind you) be there?
And don't forget, Sky City and Two Moons Land are completely different universes. Even if Soren had published his work, that doesn't mean that they would be in these dimensions.
2: The WHITE Pumpkin
In episode 6, there is a serial killer loose in the mansion, who is none other than Cassie-Rose. Now, she did not want anybody to know it was her and so wore a mask over her face; a White Pumpkin.
From the game, we know that Soren's signature colour is white. And from Minecraft logic, we know that pumpkins allow the player to not be seen by an Enderman if one wears it on their head. And what MCSM character do we know that is obsessed with Endermen? Soren!
According to Soren's audio book (music disc, episode 3), The Folly of Pumpkins, he describes how pumpkins may stop Endermen from attacking, but prevent them from exposing their true nature. Well, what if these 'White Pumpkins' were made by Soren in attempt to allow the Endermen to not see him at all, therefore allowing them to expose their 'true nature.' Perhaps the white pumpkins are a result of his research. Who knows?
3: Multiple Flint & Steels
Yes, we read through the comments and we have also noticed that you people believed that there was only one enchanted flint & steel. Well tell that to episode 6, where Stampy has possession of another enchanted flint & steel. This opens up entirely more opportunities, one theory we will discuss in a later chapter. But for now, what if Soren found one in the End?
Think about it, the End is another dimension just like Sky City or Two Moons Land (we have dubbed it this). So far, every dimension that they have been through has had an enchanted flint & steel, portal, or some other connection to the portal corridor. So why wouldn't the End have it?
This is shaky, indeed, because the End actually exists in Minecraft. But you cannot fight the fact that there is more than one flint & steel.
