*Katherine's p.o.v*

I woke up really sore from the twins yesterday, not in that way. I waited five minutes before getting up out of bed and doing my daily routine. I picked out my outfit for today which is a large long blue sleeve shirt, high waisted black jeans and black Adidas.

I checked my phone to see I had three messages from shawn, so I quickly texted him back.

S😍: hey Katherine I was wondering if you wanted to hang out tomorrow.
S😍: good morning beautiful.
S😍: hey Katherine imma call you Kat now because I like it, anyways do you want me to pick you up to go to school?

K: good morning shawn😊 and yeah I would like to hang out today, after detention though don't ask. and yes I would like a ride to school.

I got an instant reply

S😍: great should I come in for breakfast? If that's ok with you?

K: yes that's totally fine, see you soon shawn. 😙

He left it on seen, after five minutes I heard a knock at the door.
"I'll get it." I said even though my dad is still in his office and probably not coming out anytime soon.

"Hey Shawn, come in." I greet him, opening the door wider to let him in.

"Hey Kat, so what's for breakfast?" He asks, sitting by the edge of the table.

"WAFFLES!!" I yell in response, getting a laugh out of both of us.

Shawn's p.o.v

"So are you gonna tell me about why they fight you?" I ask stopping at a stop sign. She glances at me, confused.

"Who?" She asks.

"Those twins. Who else fights you?" I ask growing angered. Do other people fight her?

"A lot of people do. The twins do it more though. They have since the end of fifth grade, but not as much. Sixth grade was when they started the routine. They just shut me out and started abusing me." She says, looking out the window.

"Did you ever fight back?" I ask, taking a quick glance.

She sighs as she speaks. "Yeah. This year I stopped. They're too strong for me to handle. They're two teenage boys who work out. I don't stand a chance. Whenever I did, more people would take a shot at me." She says, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Why?" I ask. I feel bad for pushing for her to tell me more.

"I don't know, someone said I went around talking shit about everyone. That's not true because I'm nice to everyone. It got so bad to the point where I had to sneak to school. When someone spotted me, I ran like hell until I got to class. Some of them even showed up to my house and dragged me outside." She tells me. I shake me head, my knuckles turning white on the steering wheel.

"Why haven't I known about this?" I ask confused.

"You probably didn't go with the crowd." She says. That's true, I hate big crowds.

"Yeah, you're right. I didn't like it." I say.

"I couldn't even if I tried." She says. "So many people hate me and I don't know why. These girls always fight me in the washrooms. The second I enter, they corner me. They can't fight one on one anymore." She says. I sneak a quick glance and catch her little smile.
