chapter 25 •I'm telling the truth•

*Katherine's p.o.v*

"Hey em" I greet, answering her call.

"Hey, I was wondering if you can give me a ride to school?" She asks. "You don't have to if you don't want to" she adds.

"Yeah sure, I'll pick you up in.. let's say about 10 minutes?" I suggest.

"Yeah sure, see you in a bit. Bye" she hung up before letting me speak.

She's acting a bit weird this morning. Usually gray picks her up or they meet each other half way to school. I swear I'm not a creep, I found out when I asked if she had a vehicle.. which ended up with her telling a long story about it. But here we are.

I'll just let it slide, she could be on her period and not want to be around gray at the moment. Whatever it's all good.

"Thanks for picking me up, gray didn't answer my texts or calls this morning so I just let him be" she explains while getting in the passenger side.

"Yeah no problem, i thought you were on your period and didn't want to be around him" I admit laughing at the end.

"Really?" She laughs. "You thought I was on my period?" She laughs more. "You are one funny human" she tells me.

"Aren't you human too?" I laugh at her sillyness.

"Pff no, I'm a werewolf. Normal by day, creature by night" she jokes.

"Yeah, then I'm a vampire who's a thousand years old.. call me Katherine original" I play along.

"It's mikaelson, jeez Katherine,  get your facts right"

"just a tv show, calm your tits"

*gasp* "I'll have you know that the vampire diaries and the originals isn't just a tv show, it's my life" Ok, noted; never call 'TVD' & 'TO' just a show.

She continued ranting about two shows, I just tuned her out so I could focus on the road.

"Hey eth" I greet ethan while walking to my locker. He just gives me a dirty look and goes back to doing what he was doing with his group of friends. What?

"Go away Katherine, no one wants you here!" Gray pushes me away. Rude! Like what the hell did I do to him today?

"Uh-"

"Leave" ethan hisses at me.

I knew it, I knew he was going to do this. Why did I trust him so easily? Asshole. All he cares about is his popularity. But why did it hurt so much? I knew he was going to turn his back on me again, but why does it hurt?

I let my head hang low and walk away. I need to get out of here. No Katherine, you are strong. Don't show them fear. Stay.

She's right! I mean I'm right, I shouldn't show them any fear. I gotta quit letting them push me around.

But it still hurts.

I'm just gonna do my best to ignore both of them, all day, everyday.

"Could you keep this for me?" Em asks holding a notebook.

"How about I just put it in my locker, yeah?" I suggest, taking the notebook out of her hands. "Ok" she starts walking then turns around. "I'll come get it at the end of the day. Meet me there?" She hints to my locker. I nod and walk to my locker.
