Luke's POV:
I was holding onto Carol tightly with my eyes closed just taking in the moment, as tears of joy rolled down my cheeks. I pulled away to see her eyes looked the same as mine. I got down on my knees and lifted up her shirt revealing her belly that had not yet shown she was an expecting mother.
"Hey Peanut, I don't know if you can hear me or not yet but I'm your daddy. You probably don't know this but I love you with all my heart already. I don't care if you come out a boy or a girl, healthy or sick. Daddy's gonna love you and care for you at all times of you life. Be good to your Mama in there and don't make her sick for me ok? Mama will take care of you for now and you take care of her. I love you Peanut." I said kissing Caroline's stomach.
Her hands reached for my face, she brought me up to level with her lips and softly pressed them against mine. "You're gonna be a great Daddy when our Peanut pops out." She whispered.
"And you're gonna be a great Mama, I love you." I hugged her again.
"I love you too Luke."
"How are we gonna tell everyone?" I asked still holding her.
"I don't wanna do anything huge. We can just drop hints here and there then like during Christmas or something let them all know at once but I really wanna let Whit asap know so she can help me plan stuff."
"Whatever makes you happy my love." I kissed her forehead.
"I'm gonna schedule an appointment for next week so we'll be able to check and see how everything's going with Baby Bryan." She replied.
"And I'll order us Chinese take out, maybe a treat for us both."
"Can we have Carter and Whitney come over?" She politely asked.
"I don't see why not, call them and I'll get our food." I smiled gingerly.
I called up my favorite Chinese take out place and ordered my original and got Caroline what she's requested most egg rolls and chow mien which isn't a lot but I order a large quantity because I wanted to make sure she was full for the night.
Carter and Whitney like the same things I do so I just added on the original and was on my way. I came back with our dinner along with some vanilla ice cream and different topping to go along with it then some movies that we could watch.
When I got back Carters red truck was parked next to my spot where I eventually pulled in. They were all sitting in the living room on the ground in pajamas, talking about random things when I'd arrived.
"Hey baby." I said leaning down to kiss Carol.
"Did you bring food?" Carter asked looking towards the bag.
"Yes."
"Did you bring me any?"
"Yes Carter I brought you food too."
"Did you get me the original."
"Yes I got you the original." He jumped up and snatched the bag from my hand. I rolled my eyes and helped the girls off of the ground.
I kept my hand on Caroline's stomach under the table the whole time. I was still in disbelief I was gonna be a father and with the woman of my dreams she'll be the perfect Mama and I know it.
Gathering all the trash wasn't hard it was all piled and ready for clean up anyways. Caroline popped in some random movie that is gotten from red box as I set out all of the topping and scooped out the ice cream into bowls.
