So my mom comes over to my table to see what I'm drawing and of course there's a gun in my picture because I was practicing with shapes of handheld things. I had just finished it and the background looked a little plain so I added some blood spatters to practice with blood. So her comment is "Is he shooting? Orca that's really gruesome." And she says it like she's not happy with me. You know I wasn't even planning on showing anyone except you guys. It was something I was proud of even, since I finally got the Fur shading right. She paints moths and still life. You know, I really don't care what you think. It's my fricking art and I can draw what I want. I don't need you telling me my art is gruesome. I'll draw a wolf ripping a deer apart if I want to. I'll draw queen scarlet's face being melted off if I want to. I'll draw a wolf bleeding to death if I want to. Why should you be the one telling me the boundaries?
You weren't even supposed to be looking over my shoulder in the first place.
