•Chapter 15•

Saturday, June 1st, 2013

My body ached. Where was I? I opened my eyes.

I was in a hospital. Was it the same one? I turned my head to look out the window. It was a city I didn't recognize. The sun was also setting.

I had oxygen tubes stuck up my nose. My shoulders had bandages wrapped around them. My side was all wrapped up. Was I alone? I glanced around the room. Ah. There was a nurse doing something with my heart monitor.

I cleared my throat. "Um, h-hi?" My voice was all croaky.

"Oh hello. You're awake."

"Where....?"

"Seattle. You're not from around here, are you?"

"Bos-Boston."

"Really? What are you doing all the way up here?"

"Traveling. Where's Link?"

"Your boyfriend?"

"Um, no. I don't think so."

The women chuckled. "Hold on." She opened the door and said something to the people outside. She came back in.

"He's out, sweetie."

"What?!" I sat up. Big mistake. Pain shot up my body. "There must be a mistake! He wouldn't leave me!" Tears began to form in my eyes.

"Okay, just relax sweetie. He'll be here soon." She gently forced me back down. "Just calm down-"

"Don't tell me to calm down!"

The door banged open.

"Link!" I said, tears running down my face. "Where were you?!"

Link dashed over.

The nurse sighed. "She's a little hysterical right now. I think we have her on too much drugs."

Link hugged me. "It's okay. Sssh. I'm here."

"Where were you?!"

"I went to go get some food. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left."

"It's okay," I whispered. The nurse adjusted how much drugs were going into me. She made me pass out.

I had spent a week in the hospital. I was so happy I was finally allowed to leave.

"So, Darunia is the Sage of Fire?" I asked as I buttoned up my shirt.

Link sat in the corner of the room in a chair by the window. He was tossing the fire medallion up in the air over and over again and was back in his green tunic. "Yeah."

I looked over. "Why do you sound so sad?"

He stopped tossing the medallion up in the air. "He was another friend. All of my friends are dead. All because of Ganondorf."

"Hey. It'll be okay."

He smiled at me. I bent over to pull on the shoes that had come with the red tunic. They were so comfy. "Where to next?"

"It's a surprise." He winked.

"Well, we need to go like now. Before the nurse comes back."

Link stood and pulled out the ocarina. "Okay. Come here."

I walked over and he wrapped his arms around me. He began to play a song that gave me goosebumps and chilled my bones. It was so mysterious.

Light filled my vision. Instead of the feeling I get when I'm warping, I got a so much worse feeling. It felt like I was getting pulled apart and spun around in circles at miles an hour. It wasn't long before I was queasy.
