Beep. Beep. Beep.

"Turn it off," Jace groans from underneath me. I move so I'm fully on top of him and in reach of my alarm clock. Turning it off, I snuggle back into Jace's warm chest; five more minutes, I tell myself.

Thirty minutes later, I'm untangling my body parts from Jace's as I quickly but reluctantly get out of bed.

Jace stays asleep as I rush to get ready in time for work. After I take a shower, apply little makeup, and brush my teeth, I head back to my room to change clothes. When I'm fully dressed, I can't help but give Jace a kiss goodbye. I press my lips lightly against his and as I'm pulling away, his arm shoots out and snakes around my waist, causing me to stumble forward and land on top of him.

I start to scold him, but he brings his lips to mine, effectively shutting me up. "You know," he says pulling away much too soon, "if you call in sick for work, you could stay in bed with me all morning." His words sound cocky, but they're also very appealing. I shake my head.

"I can't skip work," I tell him; he pouts, and I come close to losing all resolve by jumping back into bed with him.

"I wouldn't call it skipping, it's more of a personal day if you ask me because you and me are going to get personal all day long as I thrust my cock inside that tight-"

I put a hand over his mouth before he can say the rest of that dirty sentence. "I get it, I get it," I say quickly. "But I can't miss work, not everyone is the CEO," I remind him. "Rain check on the 'personal day'?"

"Nope. It's a one time offer," he says holding up his finger like a "one". I take his finger in my mouth and bite down playfully. He pretends to be wounded as he pulls his finger out.

I smile, but soon turn serious as I remember his words from last night. "Can I ask you something?"

He replys instantly. "Anything."

Taking a deep breath, I ask, "Do you remember what you were saying last night?"

His smile fades quickly at my question. "Yes," he says, his voice clipped.

"Did you actually mean what you said? You want me to move in with you?"

He cocks his head to the side as he studies me. "Yes, I meant every word."

For some reason it feels good that he didn't take back the offer the morning after, but I still can't move in with him. "Okay," I say.

"Okay?" He looks hopeful.

"I didn't mean it like that." Like I was agreeing to move in with you. His face falls. "Jace," I say, turning his face to look at me, "it's just too soon and..." I trail off.

"And what?" he prods.

"And... well for starters... we don't know much about each other," I whisper.

"You know me better than anyone," he says with certainty. That just can't be true.

"I-I don't even know how old you are!" I exclaim suddenly and try to get off his chest, but he rolls us over and throws a leg over my waist, so I can't move.

He makes sure I'm looking at him when he says calmly, "I'm 26." How can he be so young and already be so successful?

"That's exactly my point right there."

"What point?" I can tell he's getting irritated.

"We don't know enough about eachother."

"So what you're saying is once we get to know each other better, you will move in with me?"
