"I knew you had it in you."

I stuffed my hands in my pockets, leaning against the door frame with a smirk spread wide across my lips. It probably seemed cruel but, I have to admit it was quite entertaining to see his exceed his humanity when I missed the chance to two years ago.

His mouth was moving, his other hand which was not clasping the knife motioned about, as if he were explaining something to her. Curious, I inched closer to hear the conversation since it piqued my interest quite a bit.

Before I could though, my collar was pulled backwards followed by a hard knock on my head, at the same time my body slammed against the wall behind me. Instantly placing my hand on the pained area, my head, I tried to locate the attacker with my blurred vision.

"Bloody hell?" I questioned, blinking my eyes a few times to make my sense of sight clearer.

He crossed his arms the instant I identified him. "What do you think you're doing?" he asked in a stern voice, obviously angered I didn't respond to his earlier call.

"Your 'brother' is amazing." I teased, smiling, motioning him to look forward -through the crowd.

Once he did, his eyes widened and his feet couldn't stay put. Before he charged into the scene, however, I grabbed his wrist, preventing him from interrupting the drama. He spun his head towards me, giving me a intense glare.

"Don't ruin the show." I instructed simply, choosing not to waver at his eye adjustment.

He groaned, "Who are you to stop me?"

I smirked, knowing just the line that would make him hesitate. "This is not part of the mission" I stated, knowing that he takes all his tasks seriously.

His fingers flinched at the tips, his clenched teeth began loosening up. "Why do I have to listen to you?" he clicked his tongue, turning away to avert my eyes.

"Because I'm your real brother."

He took a deep breath through the nose before letting it out in one long sigh. Then, he asked me to let go and, somehow, assured me that he won't run away. "So, what are we going to do?" he asked, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

"Let's just see what happens." I suggested.

"What if he kills the target?"

"That's what we want, right?"

His eyes narrowed, "Do you mean to say that you're using him?" his voice became slightly deeper, turning his head towards me.

"What if I am?" I sneered. "He had the guts to kill 200 people before, too, right?"

"You bastard--!"

His attempt to punch me failed when a sudden hand caught his attack in mid air, preventing him from landing a hit that I would've easily dodged. I looked behind him, seeing a rather angered short stack. "What are you two idiots doing?"

"Just having a friendly conversation." I shrugged, turning to the more approachable person beside him. "You heard it, too, right?"

"There was nothing 'friendly' about your conversation." he snapped, letting go of Gakushuu's hand. "And what's up with this..." he turned towards Nagisa and gave the exact same reaction as I did.

"I knew it." he mouthed out. Then, he turned towards us, smiling. "So that's why you were so shocked."

"What's going on?" Izaya asked, seeking to find out what was all the commotion.

"Nothing." I decided to tease him a bit. "Oh, I forgot, camera 14 isn't operational, is it? No wonder you have to ask what's going on."

His voice pouted, "C'mon, I wanna know, too!" he whined like a little child.
