More than anything I wanted to go to court with the rest of the family, but I've been put on bed rest for the remaining time of my pregnancy. Today is January 20th, and I have about a month left until I have our daughter. I'm anxious, scared, happy, I'm just emotional over it. It's an overwhelming thought to process. I look down at the huge baby bump that I have to carry around and it brings a huge smile to my face every time. Kirk, before we go to sleep, will life up my shirt and talk to her as if she was here. I find it so cute how they already have a bond even though she hasn't been born yet. I think about how my life is now, and how much it's going to change when she comes. At first, I though I wouldn't be able to handle it, but now, I'm looking forward to having her in my life.

Bed rest SUCKS. My ankles are swollen, my back is killing me, my boobs got HUGE, and you'd think I wouldn't complain about it, but they're really in the way of everything. I've gotten really big, well my stomach has, and it's literally starting to weigh me down. My doctor says she may have to induce me because I'm getting so big. You'd think I was carrying twins, or maybe even triplets. If I had to guess, Josephine's going to be a good eight or nine pounds. I can't see her being some tiny baby like Kirk was, she's going to be nice and plump like every kid on my side of the family was.

I was laying down on my side watching movies on my iPad, its not like I had anything better to do really. I was still worried and curious about how court was going. I knew everything was going to be fine, but more than anything I wanted to be there with him, and support him. It was relieving knowing that all of this was almost over. Only a few more weeks and all of this would be cleared up. At least I hope so, but I'm not going to think pessimistically about it.

"Lexus, hey, wake up!" I heard someone say, shaking me out of my deep sleep. I opened one eye, looking up to see Jalen. He smiled down at me, no longer shaking me. "We're home now. Your mom wanted me to get you, she wants to get something to eat."

"How did court go?" I asked, sitting up slowly.

"Great actually, it looks promising. But what kind of pizza you want?"

"Cheese. Anything interesting happen?"

"Nah, not really, but I'm glad to be home. How's the baby?"

"She hasn't moved much today, but she's good." I smiled. "Hey, I meant to ask you something.."

"What?" He sat down beside me.

"Yesterday, when I dropped you off at your boys house, who was that girl? She was ALL over you." I rolled my eyes.

"Oh come on, she wasn't!" He laughed, shaking his head. "She ain't all that anyways, I don't like her."

"Sure you don't Jalen! I seen your face!" I laughed, pushing him slightly.

"Nah, stop Lexus." He blushed. "I ain't feeling her like that, come on."

I rolled my eyes, walking down the stairs to go see everyone else. I could hear my mothers laugh as  I made it to the bottom stare. Sometimes it goes right through me, I swear. Jalen took my arm, helping me balance myself enough to walk into the kitchen where Kirk and our mothers were.

"Good afternoon." My mom smiled, looking down at her wrist for the time. "You look tired, were you sleeping?"

"Yeah actually." I nodded my head. "I was laying down cause my back was killing me."

"Kirk should give you a massage." His mom suggested.

"That's how she got pregnant.." Jalen said under his breath, taking a sip of his water. I slapped hi arm, giving him a look. "OUCH!"
