"Seriously?" I said with wide eyes.

"You're not angry, or upset, or-" Scott whispered quickly.

I honestly didn't know what to think. The werewolves, rivals to us and the vampires, but this guy didn't seem at all threatening.

"No, I'm not. But why didn't you tell me sooner?" I asked him calmly.

"Well, you don't usually trot up to someone you just met, who you think is stalking you might I add, and say 'hey! I'm a werewolf!'" Scott said in a 'duh' tone.

"Okay, Okay." I started. "I would've told you either if I was in your position."

He started to calm himself. "Well, do you want to meet my pack? Since Allison is resting-"

"Sure." I said interrupting him.

How will these pack members of his react to me?

--

We are in Scott's car, driving to their pack leader's house, apparently they have a pack meeting now. He parked at a really wreaked, big, old looking loft. Why the hell would someone live in a place like this?

Instead of knocking, Scott justs opened the door, not caring at all that he did it. When we walk in, I see I am guessing Scott's pack. There is a muscular one, who looked like he wanted to killing someone. There was a pretty, strawberry blonde haired girl who I am pretty sure is a popular girl in her school. Then we come to the a curly haired guy who was really tall who was probably my age. Then there was a big, dark-skinned guy who also looked like my age, and a blonde and curly haired girl who is wearing tons of makeup who won't stop looking at me like she wants kiss me or something.

"Who the hell is that?" The muscular one said speaking to Scott.

I gave the guy a dirty look. "Well, hello there I'm Stiles, nice to meet you too." I said and rolled my eyes.

The muscular looking one tensed. "Why did you bring this... Stiles here?" He said sharply.

"Look, I can explain." Scott began, looking around the barely decorated room. There might have only been a coffee table and a sofa, but that was it."Stiles, this is Derek; the alpha." I looked at him and he looked at me back, he folded his arms and his eyes flashed a dull red, for only a second. But I saw.

"That," Scott began, pointing to the curly haired boy, "Is Isaac. Him and I are both betas." He explained, as Isaac gave a slight smile and turned to face the strawberry-blond girl, the hot strawberry-blonde girl let me add.

Scott looked at me and sighed. "That's Lydia, the banshee." He leaned over to my ear and whispered "She's not your type." Not gonna lie, I was slightly offended by the bluntness in his statement.

Obviously, the guy Derek heard with his 'magical hearing powers' and laughed. I give him a grimace.

"Over there," Scott started, and pointed to the blonde girl who wanted to kiss me. "She is Erica, also a beta." She smiled and winked at me. "And lastly, that is Boyd." He said, and pointed to the big, dark-skinned guy. He was literally emotionless.

"Allison is a part of the pack as well, a well-trained hunter. She is on our side though." Scott explained to me again. I nodded and turned to Derek, not wanting to get on his bad side considering his crazy strong demeanor.

"And guys, this is Stiles like he said. He is a shadowhunter." Everyone but Derek cocked their head to the side, a confused expression on their faces. Only Derek understood what a shadowhunter was.

"What do shadowhunters do?" Isaac spoke up, a british accent laced in his voice. I pulled down the shoulder of my shirt to reveal a defense rune.

"They hunt demons, they have runes; marks on them that all have a power associated with them." Scott started. I nodded, pleased with his prior knowledge about what we do. I hated explaining it. "For example, right now Stiles is showing us a defense rune, which means resistance against demon attacks."

"Wait, wait... demons?" Lydia asked with a confused look.

"Yes, demons Lydia." Scott responded, annoyed of what she said.

"Seriously? You are a shadowhunter?" Derek said of course, is he trying to get me angry or something.

"What are you trying to say?" I said back walking closer to him. Scott looked at us knowing what was gonna happen.

"It's just, you don't like a shadowhunter." Derek answered, walking closer to me too, and folded his arms again.

"Eh, what do I look like then?"

"Not a shadowhunter."

"You know what you look like? An idiot."

He flashed his red eyes again. Scott ran in and pushed me away from Derek. "Okay guys that's enough."

Boyd stood up, still not showing emotion. "You haven't even known each other for ten minutes and you are ready to murder each other. Just cool it already." Boyd said calmly.

I cussed under my breath and no one noticed despite the werewolf hearing. Just because these people are wolves, doesn't mean that that all have to be so goddamn moody all the time! It made me quite frustrated, not knowing whether to lash out or keep to myself.

Erica stood up and took a step closer to me. "You look like a Shadowhunter to me." She said, and I could see her eyes gazing up and down my body, especially eying all of my runes. Despite Erica's demeanour, I couldn't tell if her intentions were right.

I stepped back, a little creeped out by what Erica had just said. "Sorry," I began without thinking, "I'm taken." I lied.

Erica faked a look of shock. She then proceeded to groan, flip her hair and walk away. I felt sweat build up on my forehead. Now what do you plan on doing, genius? I thought to myself. I guess it was one of those times where I had to find a fake girlfriend. Isabelle or Clary? Heh. I'll deal with that later.

I noticed that the conversation was getting more awkward, me just standing there. I as silently as possible pulled out my Steele, and prepped it in my hand to retrace a rune.

Derek glanced upwards and his neck cranked up as soon as he saw my steele. "Don't let him! Grab him!" Derek yelled. Derek ran over to me but he didn't catch me fast enough. I had traced the invisibility rune and backed away, and I saw Derek stretch his arms up in front of himself, still trying to grab me.

"That idiot! By the way Scott I don't like this new friend of yours." Derek said. He promptly stuck his hand up, and smacked Scott right across the face. No wonder his jaw is uneven.

Scott grasped the side of his face, and weirdly enough so did I. I bit my tongue trying not to scream, and I tasted blood in my mouth. I felt a burning and tingling sensation run through my veins as I was trying to translate how I had just felt the same pain as Scott. We both removed our hands at the same time to reveal a large red handprint on the side of each of our faces.

"What the hell Derek?!" Scott yelped in pain.

"I don't want to see your friend Stiles again, you hear me?" Derek said with a stern tone.

I couldn't just stand here and let Scott take all of this pain, especially if I was going to be feeling it too. I did something that I never thought I would have done, without even a second thought.

I grabbed Scott's hand, and heard him gasp as he turned invisible and I pulled him out of the loft.
