carried my sling bag on my shoulder and walked towards the atm. As I withdrew some cash there was a bullet shot. I looked across the street to see a man pointing a gun. My heart almost stopped. Suddenly there were men shooting at me. I ducked and hid behind a pole. Why are they killing me? Its fine I should die...I cant live without Xavier. I pushed the bar in a loop to lock the door. I was scared and had no idea what was going on.
Suddenly a tall man broke the glass and entered I was petrified so I hid my face in my lap and screamed loudly.
"Shelby its me. Xavier" I looked up astonished still crying. He kneeled on his knees and hugged me tight. I couldn't believe this. I grabbed him by the collar and put my fingers in his soft hair. How much had I missed his touch.
"Xavier but Mr. brown said.."
"that was his trick. He had kidnapped me and...I don't want to tell you what happened but then he let me and you out so that he could kill us together."
"but why me?"
"so that you don't go and file his case in the police." "but tell me that did he hurt you? Did his men touch you? Did they..."
"no they didn't" I looked in his eyed and touched his cheeks.
"stay" Xavier said as he walked out to check if we could move out safely. I went to him and said "I am sorry. I love you" I hugged him from behind.
"I love you too but.."
"but what"
"we cant be together." I felt like killing his stupidity at that moment
