"Yeah, not gonna lie; I have no idea where my room is. I know it's on the ground floor and I have my key card but yeah, I have no idea," Joe slurred. Zoe giggled. Joe was completely drunk.
"Why don't you ask Meri?" Alfie asked. He was vlogging.
"She's asleep, isn't she?" Joe asked. Zoe laughed again. "You know; I feel bad though – wanna know why?"
"Why?" Zoe asked.
"Meredith and I went on a double date... that's the one I told you about earlier... and then I went straight on grimy and then on tour and I haven't seen her for ages," Joe told them.
"You're a horrible boyfriend," Alfie joked.
"No I am. We had a fight earlier... that's some juicy gossip," Joe said to the camera.
"What did you have a fight about?" Zoe asked. She already knew but wanted to hear it from Joe's point of view.
"Meri wants to stay at Jim and Tan's for Christmas but I said I wanted to stay with dad," Joe explained. "But we stayed, like with dad and you guys last year so I should let her do what she wants,"
"Yeah, you should," Zoe said.
"Well, I know that now, don't I? Which is why I feel bad. But I think she was awake when I called her but just chose not to answer her phone because she's angry at me," Joe rambled.
"Oh, well, why don't you just say sorry?" Alfie asked. From under the covers, Zoe kicked him. He wasn't being very helpful.
"I would if she would answer her phone. Maybe I should text her..." Joe mumbled. "But I don't even know if she's awake,"
"You know, if you can't find your room, you can just come back and sleep in the bed downstairs," Zoe offered.
"Nah. I wanna apologise to Meri," Joe said. "Want to know the best part of arguing?" Joe added.
"Go on then," Zoe said.
"The sex afterwards is great," Joe said with a cheeky grin. Zoe laughed in disbelief.
"Joe, you can't say that on Alfie's vlog," she insisted.
"Sure I can. It's a great life lesson. But, if you're going to argue with your significant other, make sure you don't make them too angry otherwise instead of having great sex, they'll just break up with you," Joe said loudly.
"Joe!" Zoe exclaimed. "I think you should go to your room now,"
"But what if I made Meri too angry to want to –" Joe started.
"Don't finish that sentence Joe," Zoe ordered. "Just go back to your room. We'll see you tomorrow,"
"I don't know where my room is," Joe sighed. Then his phone started vibrating. "Ooh, Meredith Chapman," he said when he looked at it. "Hey babe," he said softly once he answered it. "Yeah, I'm in Zalfie's room. I don't remember our room number. Yes, I am. Erm... 235. I know, don't worry we can talk about it when I get back. Okay... I'm really sorry. No, I am. I'm really sorry Meri. I love you. See you in a few minutes," Joe finished, hanging up.
"Is everything alright now?" Zoe asked.
"Yeah, she's coming to collect me," Joe replied with a smile that showed how genuinely happy he was.
A few minutes later, Alfie was still vlogging with Zoe and Joe when there was a knock at the door. "I'll be back in a sec," Joe said quickly, rushing to open it. He went downstairs and opened the door to see Meri. "Hi..." he mumbled.
