"You told your mum?" Meri asked Joe as they walked towards the train station. Joe nodded. "How did she take it?"

"She took it well. Meri, why are you so worried that people aren't going to be happy for us?" Joe replied. Meri looked at her feet as they walked along the icy pavement and shrugged her shoulders. Joe took her hand and squeezed it. "We're having a baby, Meri. People are going to be excited and happy,"

"How are we gonna tell the viewers, Joe?" Meri asked worriedly.

Joe sighed. "We'll make a video. But not until after our first scan. Please don't worry about it, babe,"

"I'm not... I just... what if –" Meri argued.

"What if what? They don't take it well? Then that's their problem. We don't have to document our journey at all, Meri," Joe said.

...

"I..." Meri started. But then Nala started barking and Alfie started vlogging and Zoe went on her phone. She had taken too long to say it. She didn't get why she was finding it so hard to tell Zoe and Alfie, when they were probably the people that would be most excited, especially Zoe.

"Zo, can you listen?" Joe snapped.

"Sorry," Zoe said; locking her phone. Alfie apologised too and turned his camera off. "What were you saying?"

"I... erm... I'm pregnant..." Meri replied awkwardly. Joe had made it into too big of a deal so it had made her feel uncomfortable.

Zoe started laughing. "Nice one. Where's the camera, Joseph?" she smiled; looking around the room. Meri and Joe didn't reply. Zoe thought it was a prank. That made sense... they had used that as a prank a lot of times in the past. But then Zoe stopped laughing when she saw that Joe and Meri still looked serious.

"I don't think they're joking, little one," Alfie said seriously.

"We aren't," Joe agreed. Zoe smiled and her eyes filled with tears.

"You're having a baby?" she asked softly them with a grin. Meri nodded.

"We're having a baby," she said.
