I opened my eyes surprised to find I was lying on the ground in front of a small fire pit, I knew around me I would find two sets of feet, I felt content. After a few seconds, however, I noticed a third set “hey she’s waking up” I heard raven say “hey, sleepy head, its ok your safe”
“Thank fuck” I heard Damon say letting out a small breath
“Language Damon” I heard a women say in a kind but stern voice said, to me it sounded almost motherly
“What… who” I said softly, trying to sit up
“Hey hey” said Damon said, putting an arm behind my back, trying to help me up “you gotta take it easy, you have been out for about twenty-four hours”
“What” I said in shock, I couldn’t believe I had been out for so long
“Ruby-rose” said the women softly “I am happy to see you are still alive, very few mortals can live for as long as you did, when they bring their physical body here, most die instantly”
“Damon” I said, glaring at him “did you really bring me here even knowing that!”
“Well, uh… yes” Damon said, chuckling nervously after
“I told you Damon!” said Raven “she isn’t stupid! She would have found out sooner or later!”
“Raven, you’re not innocent in this either, you still let…… wait a second!” I stopped my annoyed tirade and looked towards the women “how do you know my name” I said, know that my eyes had popped open in shock
“Your friends care about you very much” the women said softly “they would not stop worrying about you, they never stopped talking to you and used your name many times”
“That they do, I really couldn’t imagine my life without them” I said smiling at them “who are you anyway”
“My name is Maya, I am the wife of Lucifer and mother of Scarlet, Teivel and Rosella” she said, and my jaw dropped, this women seemed s kind and caring, yet she was the wife of Lucifer. My mind shifted slowly to the last thing she had said, the thing about her children, Rosella, that name echoed in my mind “wait you’re…. the queen” I said, shocked
“Yes, that I am” Maya said softly “but… I do not share my husbands, nor my children’s views… except one, my dear Rosella”
“Why…. Why does that name sound so familiar?” I said softly, mumbling to myself, I shook my head and looked up “what happened to her, you sound so… sad”
“She… was killed by Lucifer” mumbled all three of them
“No” I said in shock “how could he, HER OWN FATHER!”I said, disgust and anger in my voice “that man will pay, and I be the one to do so… no man, be it Human, Demon or Angel should be allowed to do that to their own child and get away with it!” I saw a smile come across each of their faces, had I said something worthwhile….. Or were they just laughing at me, I was just a human after all, no way I could take on Lucifer and live. “Very well” said Maya “we all suspected you were the one we needed, but the proof wasn’t there, now we have it”
“What are you saying” I said, I didn’t understand what she was talking about, I was the one they needed, but I was just a Human, that was all I had ever been
“You are more special then you think” Maya spoke as if reading my thoughts “but your true self cannot be reached just yet, first we much head to the Angels temple, a mockery to demon kind, it was simply built as an invasion on our land”
“Wait I thought Angels couldn’t come to hell” I said softly
“Who in the world would give you that….” She paused “Damon why would you tell her something like that” she sighed rubbing her temples in annoyance
“well there are several reasons” Damon said, backing away slightly from Maya and my death glare, he looked as if he was trying to hide behind Raven “the main one being she had bad experience with an angel and I didn’t want her to worry, she needed to keep calm, or else that meant trouble”
“What kind of bad experiences” Maya said, her own death glare glowing
“See… the angels kinda got to her before I did…. And umm, she kinda started dating one… and when she found out she lost it at him and that’s what got her to come with me to hell, so it’s kinda a good thing” he laughed nervously now completely cowering behind Raven
“Damon if we had the time to slap you right now I would, and I’m sure Ruby-rose would as well” said Maya
“She is right about the slapping thing” I said glaring at him
“I like her” Maya said smiling at me “but it is time to go… we have to make it to the angels temple before sunrise, or else they will be too strong for us to go in and get what we need, Raven carry Ruby-rose, Damon is not permitted to touch her because of his foolishness”
“Yes my lady” Raven said picking me up
“But that’s not fair!” Damon growled “I wanna hold her!” all three of us ignored him as we left the cave, heading towards the angels temple, behind us all we could hear was Damon’s complaining as he reluctantly followed us.
