There he stood, his back to me, but I knew he wasn’t fooled, he knew I was there “Rosella” he spoke “how is it, you were able to hide right under my nose this whole time… I guess your whore of a friend Raven and your worthless lover Damon helped hide you” he turned to face me “But that shouldn’t have been a surprise, they were always scum…. Trying to be something they are not… and yet you….. my own flesh and blood, would so easily turn against me… oh I understand such tertiary from your mother, she was born from it, but my own daughter…. YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A LITTLE BITCH!” he growled swinging a blade at my throat, which I blocked with my staff “and you are nothing but a selfish child who thinks of no one but himself!” I yelled back, I used the base of my staff to hit his knee making him stumble backwards a bit, but he quickly regained balance “you have one chance…. Leave or I’ll make you leave”

“this is my castle!” he growled, lunging at me “YOU CAN’T MAKE ME” just as he got close I ducked low to the ground, extending my leg and swinging it around in a half circle, tripping him over. He fell backwards but used his wings to push himself up onto his feet, by that time though I was already around behind him to jam the tip of my staff into his spine, hitting a nerve which caused him to convulse and fall forward. I removed my staff and stood on his back, letting my head dig into him again, the same nerve which would paralyse him for as long as I held my heal there “ugh” he groaned “Just do it already, you little bitch!”

“No” I said “I am not you…. I will not attempt to destroy my own blood” I turned to see Maxwell leaning against a wall “about time you got here” I said “do you have the braces” he nodded walking up to Lucifer “Maxwell, you coward!” he growled “first you betray her for me, them me for her! Which side are you on!?”

“Oh dear Lucifer” he spoke, as he attached the first brace to his wrist “I was always on her side, we planned this from day one”

“You…. YOU TRAIOR!” Lucifer growled, as Maxwell attached the second to his other wrist, I stepped off his back, letting him free to move again “No” I said “he isn’t a traitor…. He was on my side all along” I held up the tip of my staff towards his chest “neque proicere penitus usque in saeculum, et vade foedae dæmonium” as I spoke my staff began to glow, sending a blinding light directly at Lucifer

“your spell cannot hold me!” Lucifer yelled as he was sucked into the light “I will be back, and I shall return and re-claim my throne… and your head!” I just rolled my eyes at him.

In my hand I help a small orb, that was where Lucifer was trapped, he had been banished to a dimension I had created myself, there was no way he was getting back from there, only I had the key. I walked over to Maxwell and clasped his hand “ready to explain it to our friends” I said smiling, Maxwell smiled back “Of corse… it’s… made me very sad knowing they hated me”

“I never did” I said kissing his cheek before leading him out of the room.

We returned to the room where Damon and Marcus waited “ROSIE! WATCH OUT!” Damon cried charging at Maxwell, I held my staff in front of him “he was on our side all along” I said “we planned all of this… even me becoming human”

“wha… what” Damon said in surprize “how… how could you…”

“Damon remember what I told you that day” I said “the day I first went to see Lucifer”

“just because I fall today doesn’t mean we lose” Damon said “you really did have this all planned out didn’t you… rosie”

“I did…. I needed more time… and I knew he would have come after me if I didn’t go after him first… now we have matters to attend to, Marcus” I turn to him, he was holding scarlet at bay, who was trying her best to escape from him “Bring her outside, Teivel, I need you to come with me” Teivel shrugged and followed.
