We packed up my things, laughing and listening to music and pretending that I wasn't really moving. Sam and I acted as if we could actually have a relationship. We kissed and hugged and held hands and smiled. We laughed and made jokes and played around.
We didn't even realize that Gavin left tomorrow.
"I think that that's about it," Jet declared, taping up the last box with most of my clothes in it. I only had a few more days left, so I decided to pack up most of my clothes and then keep some in a duffel bag for the rest of the time I was here.
My room looked bare. All the posters were neatly taken down and placed inside a box. The gray paint that had been hidden for years was peeling. My shelves were empty along with my closet, and my Fender was put in its case.
"Do you guys think that you can help me pack?" Gavin asked us.
"Sure," we all agreed. I grabbed my winter boots and my long winter coat and walked downstairs and out the door along with everyone else.
When we stepped outside, I texted Jasper quickly telling him that I was going to help Gavin pack.
"Ready?" I asked Sam. The two power couples started walking already, but Sam waited for me while I was texting Jasper.
"No, I think I might need one more kiss before we go," he said with a smile. I rolled my eyes and kissed him lightly on his soft lips, with him deepening the kiss soon after.
"Guys! Can you stop making out for one second and come with us!" Jet yelled from a few yards away. I pulled away from Sam and rolled my eyes at her.
"C'mon," he said and nodded to them. As we took a few steps, Sam hand clasped around mine. I blushed and he smiled at me.
We walked down a few blocks and soon enough we were at Gavin's house. His house was a pretty good size, with big oak front doors.
"Before we walk in," Gavin started, stopping us. "My parents and I aren't on great terms, so I just wanted to warn you," he said with a sad smile. Kade frowned and kissed him on the cheek.
"I'm sad," he stated. Gavin turned toward him, forgetting about everyone else for a moment.
"Why are you sad, sweetheart?" he asked and hugged him.
"I'm sad that you're sad," Kade replied. Gavin pulled away just enough to kiss Kade's nose. Kade giggled. Gavin kept kissing his nose and Kade kept on giggling. They were so cute together that I wanted to punch something.
Emma coughed, snapping the two boys back to reality.
"Sorry," Gavin said and blushed.
"Don't be," I said with a chuckle. Gavin smiled and turned around to open the doors. Both wood doors swung open with ease, and we all stepped in.
"Gavin, you better get packed right now!" a screech-y woman's voice yelled from a different room. The doors closed behind us and we all took a moment to examine the high ceilings and crystal chandeliers. There was a staircase to the right of us that lead up to the second floor.
"Gavin, did you even hear-!" A woman with blonde hair and lanky legs walked in, but stopped dead in her tracks when she saw us. "Who are you?" she asked, disgusted and sneering.
"My name is Shanaenae, nice to meet you," Jet said. I try to hold in my laughter, but I let out a snicker. The woman glared at the both of us. Then she looked at me and narrowed her eyes.
"I know you," she practically growled. "You're the purple headed freak!"
I nodded casually. "So I've been told."
