Sam never called. Or texted. He didn't make any attempt to try to talk to me. Emma and Jet call me every week and I chat with them. I'm flying them up here over the summer. Harper and Patrick will text me every now and then to see how I'm doing. Kade calls me too, and I always pick up. Same with Gavin. But nothing from Sam.
Jasper is richer than my parents, now. MTV airs his show every week on Thursday nights, and I am usually on it. It's really popular, too. I go to a performing arts school with other people who understand how much music actually effects the world. I'm in a band, too. I'm the lead guitarist and vocalist for 'I Put The Fun in Dysfunctional'. We have had a good amount of gigs at local venues, and Billie Joe Armstrong is thinking about signing us. Our music is on MTV a lot, so me and my other band mates get recognized on the street sometimes. Billie really likes our music, but he is going to wait until we are in highschool to sign us.
Jasper is busy, but he never forgets to feed me, or ask me how my day was. Mom and Dad call sometimes, but I never pick up. Jasper will tell them that I am busy so that I don't have to talk to them. Sometimes he has me practice tattooing on pieces of paper and stuff like that for when I need a job and he can hire me. I have my first tattoo planned out already, as well: I'm getting a treble clef on my wrist.
I miss home. I miss Harper and Patrick. I miss Jet and Emma. I miss Kade and Gavin. I miss Sam. The time we had together was nice, but too short. Humans are always looking for more time.
I don't have many regrets, but falling back in love with Sam Jones was one of them.
