The Avengers Teenage Nightmare

Her Realm

The Bifrost opens and everyone goes though into the realm that has been oblivious to them for so long. When they all land on the planet you can tell that it used to be a beautiful place before someone tried to turn it into a war zoon. Clouds form overhead, this planet has clouds with purple tent to them. Another army stands in front of the Asgardian soldiers. They all stand in front of a fiery red palace, Vritra sitting in the thrown. Loki steps forward, Vritra stands.

"We do not have to settle this with war. Why should more lives be lost? Please end this." Loki says.

"I'll end this when you lie dead on the ground and your people pay for what they did." Vritra says in a harsh voice.

"Please." Loki tries one more time. Vritra orders her army to attack. "Do it Thor."

Thor orders the Asgardian to attack and the war breaks out. Everyone fights hard. The Avengers lead the strategies as they try to get the upper hand on Vritra's people. They all have to same fire powers as her, but they seem less determined, like they are just following orders. Loki scans everything and everyone. Then he sees one of Vritra's soldiers about to attack Captain America with their powers, Cap doesn't see the soldier. Loki runs over, pushing Steve out of the way with all of his body force, only to be hit with the fire himself.

"Loki!" Steve calls, Loki waves him off.

"I'm fine! Turn around!" Loki yells. Steve turns just in time to block another attack.

Loki looks down his arm is burned badly. But he doesn't have time to think long before he hears an all to familiar scream. Natasha. She's been cut deeply on her stomach, the same spot Loki had been stabbed trying to protect her some time ago. Loki runs to her and kneels. He reaches out his hand then hesitates, looking at Natasha for approval before touching her, she nods. Loki places his hand on her stomach and starts to heal her with his magic.

"Your arm." Natasha says.

"It's fine, we have to fight. Please try not to get hurt." Loki says helping her up.

"Thanks, duck." Natasha says, Loki does as told and Natasha kicks over his head, hitting someone in the chest.

"Nice." Loki says as he sees the soldier lying on the ground. "You should go help Clint, you two always fight good together."

"Alright." Natasha says.

Loki and Natasha part ways and start fighting again. Loki hears a cry and spins around. He sees a little girl, maybe six, standing mid-step. Loki looks around her, she's standing in the middle of a few bombs that were put in the ground that are pressure activated. The girl looks up at Loki, her eyes are the same as Vritra's, as are everyone in this realm, but the girl's eyes are a vibrant purple color. Loki slowly kneels down a safe distance from her and the bombs.

"Alright love, I want you to do exactly what I say." Loki says.

"But you-you're an-an As-Asgar-Asg-" the little girl stutters, clearly afraid.

"An Asgardian, yes, but I swear on my life I will not hurt you." Loki says. "I'm trying to help you. Can you do what I tell you?"

"Y-yes." She says.

"Alright, take one step with your right foot. Good. Now your left, no not there, further up. Now a small step. And another. Good." Loki says, then hold out his arms. "Now I want you to jump."

"W-what?!" The girl asks in fear and surprise.

"You have to jump, I will catch you and I will not hurt you. Jump when I say alright?" Loki says. The girl nods slowly. Loki looks in her eyes. "Now!"

The girl jumps and lands in Loki's arms right as the bombs go off. Loki turns his back to the explosion and shields the little girl from it. He thought he was at a safe distance but a few sharp rocks are blown from the explosion and cut deep into his back. He holds the little girl tight until it is safe again. He looks at the child crying in his arms.

"You're alright love, you're alright." Loki says, then starts to stand picking up the little girl. He struggles from the pain but does stand up.

He sees Tony and calls him over.

"Tony, I'm about to do something that none of you will like. Don't ask what it is. Please try to control Thor's temper, he will be the most unpleased with me. But don't try to stop me, it must be done." Loki says.

"Knowing you this will be a horrible idea. But whatever it is, I'll try Loki." Tony says. Loki nods and turns.

Keeping the girl safe in his arms he make his way to the palace, dodging soldiers attacks all the way. He stands in front of the stairs that lead up to the front of the palace. He looks at Vritra

"Call your soldiers off! You're putting your own people at risk. You know you can't win this war, you have already lost it. Leave the realms out of this, leave my friends out if it, leave my people out of it, leave your people out of this anger you hold. If you must have revenge, seek your revenge on me. Take me prisoner, but spear the lives of these inoccent people." Loki says. Vritra looks down on him, the anger on her fourteen year old face never goes away, but she calls one of her soldiers to her.

"Call them off." She says, still staring at Loki.

Loki does the same and calls his soldiers off as well. They all stand behind him as he returns to his spot at the bottom of the palace stairs. The rest of the Avengers stand behind Loki and their soldiers behind them. Vritra's cold stare falls onto Loki again.

"Take the child from him." Vritra says, never moving her gaze.

One of the servants come down and takes the little girl from Loki, taking her back up the stairs. Loki straightens and looks back at Vritra.

"I'll take you on your offer." She says and sends two soldiers down to him.

"What offer?" Thor asks Loki from behind.

Loki turns around and looks at his brother as the soldiers grab his arms and force him to walk.

"Loki!" Thor yells and steps forward. Tony grabs his arm, even though he can't believe it himself.

The soldiers force Loki up the stairs and to stand and face Vritra. She looks at him, expecting him to be afraid, especially after all the torture she put him though in the past. But Loki shows no fear, just a completely blank expression.

"You may say your final word to your friends." She says coldly. Loki turns to his friends.

"Record this." Tony says to his suit.

"Don't be mad at me, it was the only way to end this without ending lives. But, the third full moon will rise and fall. Seven times will go by. Subtract the two from far away. Then the arrow spins halfway. Don't seek vengeance, seek an old enemy and new ally. Until I see you again, my new friends."

"He speaks in his silver tounge." Thor whispers.

"Take him in the palace." Vritra orders. They all disappear through the palace doors.

The Bifrost opens and the soldiers start heading back home.

"My queen, we have no cells." A servant says.

"Make one, put a cage in a room with a force field as the bars, and put him there." Vritra says.

Loki stumbles and the soldiers on his arms pull him back up. He's losing alot of blood from all the cuts on his back. The little girl he saved notices this.

"Queen Vritra, can't we help him? He's hurt. Please?" She asks. Vritra stares at her for a moment.

"Send him to the healers, and after, shove him in the cell." Vritra says and everyone starts doing their jobs again.

The little girl glances at Loki, he gives her a small smile.
