I did not know what this crap was. I was literally trying to just call Riane and it kept saying the call could'nt go through. What the heck.

Riane had gotten herself into some trouble about a year and a half ago, and after that, we'd gotten pretty close. I felt like I could help her. I knew boy troubles... Oh God, I knew them too well.

My ex was such a fag. I don't even want to talk about it honestly. I've already vented. I'm so over him. Actually, I've been talking to this really hot guy that wants to play bass guitar in my band. I've only seen him once, so I can't provide an elaborate description... but he's freaking hot.

I stopped trying to contact Riane, it wasn't going to work. Then, running my hands through my hair, I stared at my reflection in the mirror. If you want a description of me, I'll just tell you what I look like on one of my good days. Riane always tells me I look beautiful and am photogenic, but I don't believe her. She is probably just saying it so I feel better about myself. Anyway, today I had winged eyeliner and dusty purple eyeshadow. I loved my wings. Also, I had black lipstick. It was kind of my signature look on stage. Speaking of stage, I had to get out there.

I was the lead singer of a band I'd finally worked up the nerve to put together. We were doing so well! Riane had helped me get a spot at the club on main street on thursday nights. She'd also gotten one of her photographers to come out and take shots of our band. We were putting out our first album in August. That was about a month and a week from now.

"And now, from right here in your much loved Big Apple, Burning Roses!!"

Oh shit, that was my cue. I ran out on stage and grabbed the mic dramatically. Whenever I came on stage it felt like I was a different person; like I was just someone everyone looked up to and loved. It was such a great feeling. Really, everyone should experience it at least once. It's exhilerating! But I have to sing now, so here I go.
