It's been forever since I've been on Wattpad, let alone written on this JongKey story. A lot has happened in the meantime, the passing of multiple people I hold dearly, one of them being the angel you love as well.

For the longest of time I couldn't bring myself to spend time on what I love, not even writing or as much as thinking of SHINee or anything regarding them. I'm still struggling with it, though I tried recently to allow myself to spend time on them, their music, their fans and everything there usually made me happy.

It has helped me a lot, to finally allow myself to grief a tiny as well as appreciate what they mean to me, have done, still do and will continue to in the future. They bring me happiness like no other, the fans of theirs I've befriended too which I've deprived myself of for far too long.

Music as well as stories has always been my favorite safe place, coping mechanism and source of joy, no matter the music, writing, reading or just seeing stories come to life on a screen. I know it is to many of you as well, which so many of you have been sweet enough to either express in comments or in private messages to me over the time of my hiatus.

I don't know how many of you old readers still care about this story or if you even have it in your library. However, I know new people who still keeps finding this story, sad to realize it isn't finished or haven't been updated for so long and for that I truly apologize.

I want to continue this story for you because though this might only be a fanfiction, it feels like so much more. I don't want Jonghyun to have another open or sad ending because if someone deserves happiness... it sure is him. So I want to at least give him a little piece of what he deserves here since that's all I can do for him, myself as well as for all of you.

To appreciate the man who has given us so much and never should be forgotten. To make a happy place to everyone who suffered by his passing by giving them a little piece of comfort even if that means a silly little story on the internet.

So if you still care about the story, know I will be updating on it very soon and won't stop until our SHINee have gotten the happy ending they all so badly deserves
