ch. 7: Prom king

Soon they finished high school, all exams, everything was done. Only one thing left - prom.

"You ready?" Tony asked. Steve nodded. "I am so happy to have you." Tony said. "Me too." Steve said. "I'm just afraid I will lose you and that you will find someone who deserves you more." Tony said. "No, Tony! Don't ever say it again. You know I love you." Steve said and kiss him. Tony hug him. Steve was shorter and gentle and Tony felt like he must protect him. "C'mon limo is waiting outside." Tony said and they went out hands holding.

They eat dinner first and then starts dancing time.
"First we will announce prom king and queen." the speaker said. "And the queen is... Marianne Rhoney." she went in her silly dress and high heels almosr taller than her. Marianne was popular and she enjoyed it. She was wealthy and always had everything she wants. Everything but not everyone. She wanted Tony Stark and he never liked her. "I just wanted to thank everyone who voted for me and who didn't well fuck you." she said smiling. The speaker took microphone from her. "The prom king is... Tony Stark." Steve look fondly at him, he was happy because of him. They smiled to each other. "Now king and queen will start with dance."

Tony ask her for dance and she silly laughed. She try to reach his face and kiss him while he miss it moving head and searching Steve in a crowd. When song ended he try to get out from her embrace but she hold him. "Where are you going honey?" she asked. "I think king and queen finished their dance." Tony said. "And what prom pass without kiss from king and queen?" Marianne insisted. "Leave me alone, psycho! I'm gay, I'm surely not going to kiss you." he said and she left room with anger.

Tony went to Steve who was laughing. "What?" he asked. "Nothing." Steve continues to laugh, "Who is she?" "Oh she's not, you know, normal. She thinks I'll fall for her because everyone else does." Tony said. "She is in love with you?" Steve asked. "If you 'stalking' call 'falling in love' then yes."

"May I ask you for a dance?" Tony give him hand. "No way. I never danced before. I could break a leg. You can dance with Nat." Steve said. "You are denying the king? Just one dance, c'mon Steve." "Fine. But just one." Steve said and Tony lead him through dance moves and Steve was very fast teaching.

Steve followed every step and Tony lead him. "You like it?" Tony asked. "I didn't fell yet or break anything, so I can say I do." Steve said and Tony smiled and as end of the song comes Tony pull Steve back down on his arm leaving Steve to ask himself where Tony learns all this moves.
